Showers had decent hot water / pressure but don't forget your towels. Friendly and helpful staff... Wonderful stargazing but prepare for the semis coming through on the very close 101 about 3am. Paid $29 for a 1p tent site.
GuideThis was a pretty nice spot. Only about 3 campsites with tables and fire pits, but a few others along the road. The view was nice and the sunsets were amazing! It was very quiet at night, no noise from the road. There are some trail heads close to the campsites, but some are very overgrown. The only downside was lots of mosquitoes, even out after dark. The road was also very rocky, but manageable. Be careful to go slow and avoid sharp rocks, because I ended up with a flat tire on the way out. Cell service isn't bad, but the nearest town is about 1 hr away. Weather was warm and dry, with some light mist at night. We did see a black bear on our way down the road, but not muh other wildlife besides birds.
ScoutThis was my second time staying at Wuss Camp and both times have been wonderful. The area has 5 campsites and is very large so you are a good distance from other campers. It has clean bathrooms, shower, and free firewood and is conveniently located approximately 1 mile from the ocean and 3 miles from Ferndale. My friend and I were riding the Lost Coast BDR motorcycle route and it was a great place to stay. Wendy, the host, is extremely nice. Just make sure you put in your order for bread and food if you would like to eat at the site. I'm looking forward to staying at her place next year.

Our site was nice.Restrooms were great and they have a laundry facility which we did not use but everyone else was. They also have a little putt-putt area. We will be back.
TravelerThe Klamath Camper Corral has spacious camp sites with fullRV hookups, fire pits, and picnic tables. A short wooded walk to the Klamath River is a must with lots of area to explore. We enjoyed finding the perfect rocks for skipping over the water, or for painting at the campsite. Abundant wildflowers, birds, and perfect June weather (sunny with sometimes rain) in a relaxing environment. Grounds are well maintained, showers are hot and restrooms are clean. The barn has a few video games, table games and a small library for use by campers. A coin Laundry is also available on-site which is very convenient.
