Very clean. Access to trails. Wonderful views. Sites are
spaced apart to where it feels like you’re the only one in the area.
If you are looking for a basic campground, meaning not much for visuals this is a good location. Friendly staff and right next to town. Really not the camping experience I look for when I want to get out into nature. Spots are back to back. No privacy.
I camped here in October and there was only a small handful of people here. Nice open area with views of the mountains. Watch out if it's windy because there isn't much covering.
During my stay, it's snowing at night with heavy wind, restroom far from my site.
We have been coming here since the mid 1990s... my Father-in-law came up here back in the 1940s... it hasn't changed.
If you are a camper that likes to party and play loud music, this is NOT the place for you. This pristine environment is a place to re-join with nature, and enjoy the fresh air. It…

We wanted something near Bishop. Hardly anyone around, but other vans helped us know we were in the right place. A bit windy and cold though!
Beautiful spot overlooking Bishop Valley framed by the Sierras and white mountains. NO FIRES
This campground is in a great location near Lake Sabrina and the surrounding trails. There is a creek that runs behind the camp and the fall leaves were beautiful. Some of the sites are right along the road underneath some telephone lines but the majority are beautiful and quite private.…
Spacious rv and trailer sites, with water and electric but no dump station. That would be a plus if they added the dump station or sewer hookups. Lots of trees for shade, a small creek runs through the site. Hot showers and clean restrooms. Laundry is available on site as well. Nice place to…
Campground has two access roads just north of Big Pine CA. The campground entrance is approximately 1 mile west of Highway 395. Take Baker Creek Road for a straight shot to the entrance and pay station kiosk. Most sites are located on opposite sides of A small creek that splits above the…

Was stoked to find this gem a short drive from Bishop. I drove in at night and the Milky Way was shining bright. Got some decent star shots. It’s a great way point if you’re traveling through and need a quiet and free place to crash. I haven’t even seen this place in the day yet but I’ll be back…
This place was easy to find, the road was well maintained, and our spot was very clean. There was a fire ring available, but no other amenities. I had Verizon cell service, which was a nice perk.
