Anglers can cast lines directly from their campsite into the creek that runs alongside Aerie Crag RV Campground. This USDA Forest Service campground accommodates RVs up to 44 feet on level, drive-in sites within open terrain. The lack of grass makes tent camping impractical, though RV campers appreciate the easy access and spacious sites.
Basic amenities include toilets and trash service, with pets and alcohol permitted throughout the campground. Cell service reaches the area, and hiking trails branch out from the surrounding forest. When nearby established campgrounds fill up, this site provides an alternative base for exploring places to camp around June Lake.
Description
Overflow camping area, open only when other camprounds are full. Open for picnicking at other times. RV-only sites.
