Revised, our second trip here.

Still 4 stars, more accurately 3.5 stars. We were under the trees this time instead of on the asphalt parking lot slab. All dirt, dirt back in site, dirt camp site accessed by a dirt road. Expect lots of dust. Bring all your campsite mats, you will need it. We backed in pretty deep to the site as not to run into our neighbor, My long shore cord had to be stretched to get to the power box. The water and sewer fine. Why these boxes are so far back almost into the next site is puzzling. Upon leaving, the access road is totally blocked by vehicles lined up for the dump station. If you want to avoid this, leave early.  Not really sure if there will be a third visit.

Great escape campground

We camped there in our motorhome for 5 nights in the upper section. Not as "Camping" as the lower section but still very nice. We loved that we had access to most of the eastern Sierras and to the Mammoth area itself. Great E Bike riding area

Nice Location

Large enough sites. I have tried a year in advance for full hook ups. Only Water and Electrical again this year. As you can see, the sites are parking lot like. All asphalt.

Some area are sparse with trees, so you will get lots of direct light in these sections. Staff was pretty accommodating. Will be returning this August.

Nice campground

I really enjoyed tent camping here. I’m not a fan of the trailer camping because it’s all cement and everyone is close together, but it’s doable if need be. When tent camping, you’re under beautiful trees which I love!

Siteboth trailer and tent camping site.

Good spot! Close to east end of Mammoth and plenty to do on-site!

Stayed here for a week. Great spot for the family while I worked. Plenty for the kids and family to do and a great location close enough to bike/walk to most stores on the east end of town.

Our reservation said 50 amp partial hookups. But only the full-hookup sites have 50 amp. Partial hookups are 30amp with water, but the water access depends on the weather/season you're there in. We had to fill up with Fresh Water before we got to our site but it's in a convenient spot so not too big of a deal.

It is a parking lot but there was plenty of space for us and our SUV. Pool and Laundry Mat/Showers were close as well which made things nice. Starbucks is a short walk away too if that's your jam.

Great spot just make sure to call so there's no surprises with water/hookups etc.

Amenities: Pool & Jacuzzi / Laundry Mat / Showers & Bathrooms / Dump Station / Playground.

Sweet year round spot

They shut off the water once it gets cold out so it doesn’t freeze, but they have showers and washrooms handy, and they have one spot you can fill up if your willing to risk frozen pipes.

Would have been better w/o the wildfires.

The staff/owners were awesome even in a semi-crisis. This was during the California wildfires. I would recommend this RV park/campground they have ample space for both. Every site has a bear box. The one night I stayed there were at least 2-3 bear incursions into the grounds.

Good place to stay

Helpful staff, find a spot under trees, nice proximity to lots of activities and scenic highlights ... left our surge protector and they called us within 20 minutes to let us know.

Amazing campground

Do yourself a favor and if available get the full hook up sites! They are in the middle of the trees with great space and access to everything. The bathrooms were amazing and clean. The pool and spa is indoors and well laid out. This is now one of our favorite spots

First Timers Camp Out

This was our maiden voyage in our new Motor Home.. we enjoyed the location of MM RV Park and Campground because of the beautiful trees and the location was walking distance to restaurants and shops... the campground is clean and the people that work in the office are very nice. Linda whom I made the reservation with on the phone was excellent and I appreciated her knowledge and help.

Great for all sizes

Spots large enough for almost all size rigs. Tents too. Good bathroom amenities and swimming pool/spa. Playground. Walking distance to town. Great walking paths. Choose to camp under the shade of the pines on a dirt pad or in the clean, parking lot style section.

This place never lets us down.

Bears and cold

We weren't here for long, only one night on our way back home to Oregon but it was long enough to see a bear cross the road. This is definitely a spot where they aren't kidding about locking up your food. We didn't have any issues but good to note. It was also pretty chilly for what we thought was still the fall season, only 30 degrees when we arrived and 22 when we woke up in our tent the next morning. Absolutley breathtaking. Can't wait to go back to spend more time.

Super family friendly and in town!

We camped early in the season for opening weekend for Fishmas. Hot showers, heated pool and spa. Drinking water and clean-out/dump station for RV. Large bear boxes on site to store food in. There's also a bus that runs up to the resort with many stops in town that's FREE!
