One of the best out there

This is one of the most scenic areas for me. Mountains, lakes, fishing, beautiful roads, hiking trails.. convict lake has it all. Ive stayed here multiple times in all the different seasons. Always a blast.

Great views and very spaced apart!

Very clean. Access to trails. Wonderful views. Sites are

spaced apart to where it feels like you’re the only one in the area.

Great after a long days drive!

We stayed here for only 1 night. But we were driving all day and just wanting a nice place to crash for the night, this place was a nice choice. It is dry camping but does have a few toilets and they take cards with a machine to make things easier for nightly payment. They also book reservations…

Convenience is the only reason to stay

Not sure what has changed, but no such thing as $15 camping here. Minimum charge was $20, and that was dry camping only. For electric and water sites we paid $35. That said, the showers were nice (and free), and the restrooms were clean. Lots of noise both day and night, but that's the tradeoff for…

Great spot!

I camped here in October and there was only a small handful of people here. Nice open area with views of the mountains. Watch out if it's windy because there isn't much covering.

Cute for what we saw!

We were arriving after dark and At first we pulled up to just a county parking lot but once we found the right place it was super cute and well kept! We literally only used it to park and sleep in our vehicle so I don’t know much about the sites but they had dry and electric sites, tokens for the…

Wonderful and Amazing destination

We have been coming here since the mid 1990s... my Father-in-law came up here back in the 1940s... it hasn't changed.

If you are a camper that likes to party and play loud music, this is NOT the place for you. This pristine environment is a place to re-join with nature, and enjoy the fresh air. It…

Great spot, easy to find

We wanted something near Bishop. Hardly anyone around, but other vans helped us know we were in the right place. A bit windy and cold though!

Nice spot

This campground is in a great location near Lake Sabrina and the surrounding trails. There is a creek that runs behind the camp and the fall leaves were beautiful. Some of the sites are right along the road underneath some telephone lines but the majority are beautiful and quite private.…

Need a break? Stop at Browns Millpond!

Spacious rv and trailer sites, with water and electric but no dump station. That would be a plus if they added the dump station or sewer hookups. Lots of trees for shade, a small creek runs through the site. Hot showers and clean restrooms. Laundry is available on site as well. Nice place to…

Easy access near town, sites are scattered and somewhat uneven

Campground has two access roads just north of Big Pine CA. The campground entrance is approximately 1 mile west of Highway 395. Take Baker Creek Road for a straight shot to the entrance and pay station kiosk. Most sites are located on opposite sides of A small creek that splits above the…

Bomb diggity

First I checked out the crab cooker campsite nearby and the road was ROUGH. The drive is definitely worth it if you plan to stay there without going back and forth into town.

This site is closer to the main highway and is easier to access even though it’s not as pretty.

It’s a Wednesday night and…
