One of the best out there

This is one of the most scenic areas for me. Mountains, lakes, fishing, beautiful roads, hiking trails.. convict lake has it all. Ive stayed here multiple times in all the different seasons. Always a blast.

Great spot!

I camped here in October and there was only a small handful of people here. Nice open area with views of the mountains. Watch out if it's windy because there isn't much covering.

Need a break? Stop at Browns Millpond!

Spacious rv and trailer sites, with water and electric but no dump station. That would be a plus if they added the dump station or sewer hookups. Lots of trees for shade, a small creek runs through the site. Hot showers and clean restrooms. Laundry is available on site as well. Nice place to…

Amazing views

I went here solo camping with my dog in may 2021. Great little spot. Pretty busy on the weekends though. It was also crazy windy which I think cooled off the hot spring a bit.

Upper Pines

Crowded but awesome location, close to all of the iconic sites in Yosemite Valley.

The best home base for spring skiing

This is my go to spot for missions to Mammoth! Whether setting up shop for a few days or rolling in late before an early start, I always camp here, although I would suggest driving an AWD vehicle.

Got eaten alive

Camped here once during the warmer months and was eaten alive by mosquitoes!!! We had everything including candles and bugs spray....but nothing will stop the storm of mosquitoes from eating you alive at sunset. I got over 100 bites or more all over my body. Those sucker even able to bite me over…

Good but busy

This place was the busiest of the hot springs in the area. There is so much public land here that we ended up finding a super secluded spot off of hot creek which is even better than a hot spring IMO.

Great vibes, great views

Super cool spot. We set up our tents with a view of the hot springs. The hot spring was kind of broken when we were there so that was a bummer, but you could hike out to the slightly muddy creek for some hot water. Beautiful area, and hopefully the other guys staying there fixed the hot spring by…

Creek side paradise

I stayed here May 10-12th with my two dogs. I chose a site right along the creek which was wonderful to fall asleep to the sounds of rushing water. Many sites are quite spacious and offer a sandy area for tent set up. Most sites have a picnic table, fire pit, & metal bear box for food storage.…

Great, quiet campground with easy access.

Great campground! Very clean, quiet and peaceful. The campground typically takes reservations ahead of time; however our trip was midweek so first come, first serve. We arrived just after 4pm so plenty of spots to choose from.

Camp host was very nice. Surrounding neighbors well spaced out and…

Nice little spot

Big Pine Creek Canpground is located by the trailhead of the north fork trail. The campground is not very big, most people use it to spend the night prior to trekking up the mountains. The campground is improving and we took advantage of the convenient store for some victory sodas after our long…
