Nice in winter months

Gets hot in summer, spots are close by to each other but usually respectful neighbors, sometimes idiots come by leaving trash and making noise at odd hours but closes at 7pm so you won't get people coming in the middle of the night. 5 dollars day pass, 25 total for camping. Nice huge area, can go…

Hidden gem

This was our first time to Millerton Lake / Meadows Campground. We feel like we have the campground almost to ourselves for ourselves given that it's January. We imagine it's crowded in summer months. The campground is very lovely and well maintained. Most sites overlook the lake. Non-electric…

A Real Treasure

This campground has many spread out sites with one pit toilet. There is no water unless you use the creek. Please report any trash or other issues to the Prather Ranger Station. When I visited some people had buried human waste next to the campsite and I cleaned it up.

Most easily accessed via…

Isolated Campground with Lots to Explore

There are a lot of backroads to explore in the area. The campground was on the edge of the 2020 Creek Fire. It was closed in 2021 and hazard trees were removed. I would expect it to open in 2022 but recommend calling the Bass Lake Ranger Station.

Couldn’t find, Hannah gives wrong location

Note: drove to “end of Mt Raymond Rd / Goat Meadow Ttailhead” following Hannah’s review as the directions. That is not the directions to this campground. It’s the directions to the Meadow campground across the 41. So, unfortunately never found this location. Leaving proper review of Meadow…

Easy access to popular Mist Trail

We typically choose to stay in traditional camp grounds and haul in our own gear and pitch tents but this time we had permits to hike up Half Dome and chose to stay here due to the location of being able to park, sleep and wake up early to start our day hike.

This is great access to start the…

Quiet Yosemite jewel

Booked Loop B site 36 - on-line said it wouldn't take a trailer larger than 12'.  1st - it isn't a 'back-in site.  You pull in along the roadside bounded by boulders for your site.  I pulled in with my 19' trailer, towed by a large SUV without a problem.

We were here six nights and never had more…

Great Location

Located at the end of Mt Raymond Road at the Goat Meadow Trailhead & Snow Play. Plenty of spaces available, including a parking lot. I hate to admit it's suitable for big rigs because these generators are driving me nuts. I had to ask someone at 10pm to please turn it off because it was so…

Excellent visit

Good experience, campground was very quiet while we were there@ Elderberry loop.
Weather was good. Neighbors were friendly. Firewood guy comes around late in the day it for $1 log.

Saw some deer cruising through the campground, once with a coyote tracking them. A bear visiting Cedar loop…

North Pines #515

Our campsite was the best! We were right next to the Merced River and surrounded by granite cliffs! To our right was Yosemite Falls and behind was Half Dome. Can’t wait to come back!

Upper Pines Oasis

Great campground, nestled beneath the giant granite cliffs. For people with mobility issues, this site is a good walk away from the inner valley trails, fine for anyone else who is up for walking distances, because that is why you came to Yosemite!

FYI: No soap or hand drying items in bathrooms…
