It would be our last resort if nothing else was available

I’ll start with the positive. If you need anything stores are close and entrance to Yosemite is 15 min up the road. Now for the negative. We have 29 foot travel trailer and we reserved a premium pull through spot. Although we could pull through the spaces were very tight and we just happen to get lucky that nobody was across from us as there is only in one way in and one way out. We were able to use other empty spot across from us to turn around. Had it been full we would have had a heck of a time getting out. One family came in last night and their spot was at the very end and they had to back all the way out of the park so they could back their trailer all the way back in. It is ridiculous. Our spot was also very hard to try and level our trailer. We never did quite get it leveled the way we would’ve liked. The bathrooms aren’t very clean and the “beach” is over grown and i wouldn’t really even let my dog in the stagnant water. Bottom line this place is not good for your larger travel trailers our size or bigger. Especially if you are in a spot like we had which was spot 34 or a spot towards the end. Maybe better spot near the entrance. Class c generally would have no problem.

Great Hosts but Close Sites

We stayed in the premium sites at this camp ground.  Loved the hosts.  They were wonderful to work with and very accommodating.  The premium sites include full hook-ups — water, electric and sewer.  We were in site 43.  We were told that during COVID that they they were keeping sites in between those rented open for social distancing, however this did not apply to premium sites.  Spaces were VERY close!

Despite this, we still would highly recommend this campground!  Especially if you are visiting Yosemite!  It is clean, bathrooms in great condition, WiFi was good and limited free and as mentioned earlier hosts/owners were GREAT!

Truly amazing!

The creek, waterfalls & rope swing over the swimming hole was unbelievable!! The kids enjoyed the rope swing while the mom enjoyed the walk back to the falls & thru the shallow waters... the Campground was good too, lol! The parking is a little tricky but we've found fellow campers to be helpful! (P.S. Found out on check - out that the rope swing does not belong to the High Sierra Campground, swing at your own risk, lol!)

Tent camping

The place is in great location. The bathrooms are clean which is a great plus. There is a nice river (Fresno River). One thing I have to add is that many of the campsites along the water trailer and especially tent sites are very bunched up. There is not any room between campsites. The tent sites have are honestly 20x20 I would say. Therefore, there is no privacy. I understand from a business perspective the concept but to make it more appealing campsite I would suggest changing the layout and cutting the tent sites into half so that each campsite has more room.

Great staff

Amazing staff and location is convenient and has the Fresno river running through along with some hiking trails.

Friendly staff

Sites are very crowded. You gotta love your neighbor. Lots of amenities. Very friendly staff. So helpful and accommodating. Good access to Yosemite. We prefer less neighbors but overall it was nice.
