Situated on a 72 acre animal sanctuary and goldmine boarding 140 acres of BLM land. If you're looking for a unique and special camping experience, look no further than Camp Ikigai at Ikigai Animal Sanctuary in Squaw Valley, California. **During high fire season we only allow campfires in the designated approved areas! The main Communal firepit access is open to everyone. Oak Firewood is not included in your stay and must be purchased from the camphost! We are all non paid volunteers and this covers the materials and treats. We do not allow outside firewood, so if we find you in possession a mandatory agricultural inspection will be done, and any corrective measures will be applied to contain the vectors at your cost.

Directions
We are Camp ikigai Animal Sanctuary on most GPS systems. You will drive up a small portion of the Dyrt road and reach a closed green gate with a lockbox. Once you have a completed reservation, you should have received the code for the lockbox. Please use the key to enter and and return it to the lockbox after securing the gate. PLEASE DO NOT KEEP THE KEY as others needed access to arrive and depart. If you have not received your code or need to do a lastminute booking, please contact us or use the Ring Doorbell at the gate. We may take some time to respond, so please allow this :)
