Tucked away from the highway

We really enjoyed it here. The things we wish we knew about the town: Do not drive in eureka springs- the roads are very narrow even for my small truck Town is kind of hard to navigate with all the switchbacks but good food around! Fun family things and beaver dam was gorgeous 😍 Back to the campground - the owner knew us by name the day we showed up, it was so sweet for her to walk us into our spot and get us checked in. She provided a map of town and trolley schedule. The camp store is cute! But I'm sure with peak season dwindling down it may be more on the empty side going into winter. Showers and bathrooms and nice gravel pads. When we showed up it was pretty bare, by the time we left Friday morning it felt kind of like a sardine can. Being right next to the highway I thought it would be loud but you can't hear the roadway at all. If we come back we will probably stay here knowing it's kind of a diamond in the rough compared to other campgrounds we scoped out in the area.

Fun and quaint!

Luckily they had walk in room. It was kind of hard to navigate, numbers weren't easy to find right away. Decent size lots, fair price for available commodities offered. Showers were clean and large. They have a kids park in front of the old drive in. Good food in town!

Not bad when passing through

We were told to call an hour before arriving when I made reservations the day before. The gal was carrying on other conversations so it made things a bit muddled. They wanted to know the kids ages, my dogs and their breeds. I felt this was a bit much information required to share, but that's IMO. I called an hour before while passing through Billings and it was a very short call, once again she was also talking to someone else. When we arrived, I was waiting to figure out which site "package" to get but wasn't asked. My card was ran and it came out quite a bit higher than the website lists, so expect 10-12$ more. Upon walking in the office, there wasn't much room to move around between all the gift shop items. I'm not sure if it's under construction but it had a strange smell, maybe cat boxes, or very similar. The map was easy to read, there are bathrooms and showers on site. Fairly clean but not much privacy as the doors are all shower curtains including the bathroom "doors". Laundry facility was clean but a small space with a handful of machines , it's nice that it's available 24/7 according to the website. Pads mostly seem to be a dirt/gravel mix but mostly level. Our spot looked as though it was recently leveled. The numbers are mostly missing from the spaces up front. I wouldn't stay again unless I absolutely needed to.
