Great location & well maintained

We have camped here 3 of the past 4 years. It is a great location: close to the big city facilities, but out of the hustle and bustle. Small to medium-sized for AZ campgrounds. Has pool and pickle-ball court and nice laundry. Staff/owners are sensitive to COVID safety. Individual sites are paved…

Pretty decent place

I loved this place, there’s ton of activity you can do and people are really nice and friendly. The bathrooms aren’t the cleanest but they aren’t that bad. You should definitely bring your own fire wood also don’t forget your fishing rods. The only problem I had was one of the visitors was…

Loud but beautiful

The campground itself was decent. Clean, basic spots with fire pit and picnic table. Fairly level, very little shade. We were in spot 135 which was a higher price because it was "waterfront" but all of the spots were pretty much waterfront so really not worth the extra money. The spots on the west…

Quiet, wildlife and great boondocking

Just a few minutes of travel along a dirt road, plenty of open space midweek. A couple portapots, and ok cell coverage. Lots of signs of wildlife: coyotes, horses, etc. we’d definitely come here again!

Very nice campground!

We have stayed at this park a few times and never disappointed. We have met great people here and enjoy that you can walk or bikeride directly from the RV Park. The park is always clean and well cared for, and we like that its not in the city center. They have a great laundryroom, and even a…

Currently Closed

I showed up today October 9 at 11pm to spend the night and all of the roads are closed. The main parking lot is open but none of the roads to the dispersed dirt areas are accessible. I am unsure if you are allowed to park and walk to camp. No one is here.

Love this park

Love this park because it is out of the busy city, yet close to everything. Feels more "campy" than most RV resorts in the Phoenix area, and they do a great job of maintaining the park. Have weekly and monthly rates so nice for folks who want to stay in the area longer. Hiking and biking in the…

Typical rv park

The park was nice and tidy. The pool area looked nice, we didn’t get a chance to enjoy that part. I was a bit put off by the office staff on the phone. She told me that they didn’t allow vans in their park. We have a 27 ft coach house b+. I explained what a coach house was. I guess she looked it up…

Worst place ever

Filthy, crowded and loud. Music festival environment. Reserved RV spot but someone had taken. Trash all over, broken down cars, tents on side of road. Not beautiful, peaceful or relaxing. Not worth the drive.

Quick weekend getaway

It's only 30 mins from my door to the camp site. Found a nice pull off from the main road with a good fire ring and set up the tent. ATVs are all around so it can get noisy and dusty but never was it unbearable. It's a great getaway very close to town.

Camping allowed Friday/Saturday night only

We took our RV out just for the the day. I would recommend getting there early as spots fill up as people park for the day and play in the river. Plenty of spots to set up a tent, but not very spread out or private. There were bathrooms and picnic tables as well. A great place to view the wild…
