Encore Countryside

Apache Junction's Encore Countryside operates as an established RV park where sites accommodate both short-term visitors and seasonal residents. The facility sits within a community that includes numerous park models and permanent structures alongside traditional RV spots.

Site spacing runs tight throughout the property, with Robert C. noting that "RV dedicated spots are far fewer than the permanents; really just a glorified trailer park." The park spans approximately 500 sites, with over half designated for cabins and pad trailers rather than transient RV camping. Hookups are available for RVs, and the property allows pets with designated dog runs located outside the main fence area that require key access.

Amenities include a water dispenser that charges 30 cents per gallon for drinking water. Reviews indicate variable experiences with staff interactions and facility maintenance, with some campers reporting issues with restroom supplies and cleanliness. The park operates under reservation-based booking through the Encore RV Resorts system.

Campers exploring the area can find campgrounds around Apache Junction for additional options. The location provides access to nearby attractions and outdoor activities typical of the Sonoran Desert region. Consider bringing your own supplies and confirming current amenity availability when making reservations.

This seasonal RV park with many permanent residents receives mixed reviews. While one guest praised helpful staff, most visitors reported tight sites, rundown conditions, and rude service that detracted from their experience.

Avoid

Poorly managed with arbitrary fees charged. Park is not a "resort", it's just an old rundown trailer park with a lot of very old park models.New management is awful.

Review of Countryside

Countryside is a park with lots of sites dedicated for seasonal travelers. Spaces are close together. This park is more than a RV Park with amenities than a rv resort. I believe of 500 sites with over half the park being cabins and pad trailers. I would say here again.

Awful

Rude staff who act like they are doing you a favor for staying there. Trash and dog poop rampant amid old permanent structures. RV dedicated spots are far fewer than the permanents; really just a glorified trailer park. Most of the amenities are still closed, and the few outdoor activities they had are very cliquish. Won’t be back and definitely can’t recommend.

Wandering Gypsy

Tight spaces. All activities were closed when we got here but opened up while we stayed. My husband had to carry his own toilet tissue to the men’s bathroom because they never filled the dispensers!! You pay dearly for WHAT?????? The lady who opened the door when we got here was extremely rude and acted like we were bothering her. Had to find our site with site map. They should have had someone helping to settle people in to their site. That would be nice!  Campers who are in the park are very nice.  Dog runs are outside the fence which you need a key to unlock the padlock. Never told that either when we arrived!! Water dispenser on site for drinking water, but you have to pay .30/gallon. Found a health food store that sells it for .10/gallon.
