Lacking amenities

Beautiful location, nice flat paved sites, good size sites, fire pit and grill! Problem was bad cell service, internet as well as having to pay for showers that didn’t work and 2/3 of the dryers in laundry didn’t work. Beautiful location for sunrise and sunset!

Best spot in Page

I really liked camping here and I felt safe being alone. There were rangers patrolling and people were overall respectful. If you don’t have 4wd I’d stick to the upper loop- go left right after the bathroom facilities. If you have 4wd and want to camp on the water, head straight after the bathrooms…

Surpising good

Stopped here for a night and a bit of hiking. Found the camp to be well kept up and beautiful. The facilities were great, the showers were surprisingly fancy. The camp was quiet and sites were well spaced. Some site are in the foliage with more shade, and unfortunately more bugs (but not too many).…

The best Spot

This was a really great spot! Like the other reviews was was a little tricky to find but when we did it was awesome. The gate was closed so we were a little deterred but we saw people behind it so we opened it and there wasn’t any issues! The stargazing was absolute top notch. There was about…

Beautiful grounds and friendly!

The staff was so sweet and friendly, felt welcomed from the start. Beautiful wooded area, fire rings but no grates, we brought our own.. (still great to have fire ring considering the no fire restrictions for boon-docking anywhere else). Camp was pretty empty for tent campers so we easily got a…

Quaint, friendly and near south rim

This was such a quaint friendly campsite. The woman here was by far the sweetest. They sell ice cream treats and ice too, with pristine vault toilets and sinks. We had such a nice quiet stay. The tent sites are all very close together but because it was empty, we had a wonderfully quiet stay camped…

Clean, but noisy!

Stayed 2 nights as part of a larger road trip, passing through the area. Campground is conveniently located to do lots of activities around Kaibab NF or North Rim GC. We even drove down to Vermillion Cliffs. Hosts were very nice. We reserved and we just checked in with host who jotted down our…

Lake Powell Camping

Such a nice camping area! Super easy to get stuck in the sand here so be prepared and walk your route before you try and drive it. Super fun for big groups and weekend trips!

Great Location, Tough Road

The proximity to the north rim is unrivaled. The road was endless washboard by our small Chevy van was fine. We came in at dark and were unable to find a spot with a Canyon view. Regardless, good and quiet place to camp for a night.

Camping Under the Stars

The spot was a little difficult to find. When going south on the highway it is on the left. The coordinates take you to the gate, you just need to make sure that you slow down so that you don’t miss the gate! When we got there we were able to see RVs out there in the distance so we were able to…

Large, private sites

Very large sites, separated by high desert alpine pine trees. Sites are far apart from each other giving a sense of privacy. Very flat sites. Mostly self contained RVs here. Quiet. Even if someone runs a generator sites are far enough apart it's still quiet. Half are reservable, the rest first…

Beautiful views, little privacy

Check-in took a LONG time! Upon check-in, the staff member seemed very confused with questions we asked. Booking online said 25’-30’ RVs were allowed in the self contained RV/tent area, depending on the site. We knew we were taking a chance on not finding a fitting site with a 30’ rig. When asked…

Beautiful!

I arrived on a Saturday at about 1230 and they were only about five or six spots open. All kinds of set ups, big rigs smaller, tens and pop-ups. It’s a beautiful place. A couple of the spots overlook the Colorado river otherwise, you can just walk over there and dip your feet in or go fishing!
