Wind Creek State Park

Great camp grounds with plenty of things to do to keep everyone entertained. I gave it 4 stars only because you have to stay here for a week to get premium sites with 50 amp service. But this area is very clean and has very spacious camp sites. We were in section E. This area was very quite and had…

Great for families

If you have a family with small children, this would be the place for you..... But a couple wanting a quiet, relaxing few days.... Not so much

Great outdoor experience

We love this campground. It’s clean and the staff is friendly. We go at least twice a year.

Extended stay at uchee creek

I stayed here in my NoBo 16.2 camper for almost 6 weeks waiting on a house. The site is clean. Cable, electric, water and sewer. The wifi has been out for a while. Tent sites and cabins also available. Lots of wildlife. If you're into C130s flying over due to being in close proximity to the…

Site 51 or any in that cove

Although we love Whitetail.. We won't book another site in this cove. ALL of West Pointe Lake trash lives here. I spent an hour or more picking up nasty trash! Still, our 6 year old gashed her foot wide open. Three stitches later.... ;(.

Fun times for the whole family

We had one of the group sites that had 10 spots total, and used the 5 trailer sites. Our whole family camped out there and enjoyed the close proximity to each other’s site. They’re right across from a larger shower house on one side and the waters edge on the other. All of the kids really liked…

Secluded

The area was absolutely beautiful and I would have loved it if it weren’t for the RV next to me that ran the generator all night. There was an alligator cruising the water while I was there and minimal bugs considering we were along water.

A real gem

This place is amazing. We had started to lose hope that campgrounds like this still exist, but apparently they do.

It’s gorgeous. It’s clean. It’s peaceful. It’s free! What else could you possibly want.

There are a lot of gators in the river, so swimming is a no go however.

There is no…

FREE and stunningly perfect

Absolutely love this place. Super easy to find, you just go down a red clay road. There’s plenty of sites up close to the pond, fire pits everywhere, picnic tables, clean garbages. The trooper came by in the morning and cleaned the bathrooms and changed the garbages. Overall this place is so clean…

Good tent camping

Free. Found a good spot with a view of the water. Watched the alligators and birds on the water. Was able to easily launch a canoe as there is a boat ramp. Vault toilets were available. Picnic table, fire ring, and grill at each campsite.

Quiet little park

The park is relatively small but it’s very well kept. Small rigs can pretty much enjoy any spot but larger rigs need to be sure that the site is level for the length of the rig. Some spots have a driveway that goes downhill from the camper and others go uphill from the camper which might be an…

Great for young families

We stayed this past weekend. Luckily, we chose the E (more quiet) area because we didn’t want to stay for more than 3 days. Explored all over and saw how crowded c and b were. There are a few less crowded spots on the water but for the most part it’s very close. Good if you want your kids to play…

Camping off the grid

This is a beautiful campground. Very wooded, beautiful pine trees. Camp sites are spacious. Drawback was that some sites had alot of water on them and in them. Lots of low lying areas in the park and some campsites so, during rain it's gets very wet and can have alot of standing water. Bathrooms…

Great place to go camping!

Awesome campground. If you look at the map you’ll see that some sites are full hook-up and some are not. We stayed in C section with full hook-ups. They have playgrounds throughout the campground, trails from 1 mile long to 15 miles long that can be utilized by horse, bike, or on foot. Boat rentals…
