Busy Campground

Good lake access/sunset views/boat ramp. Tends to be quite a busy campground, so getting a prime spot in peak season can be difficult. Management noted to be on the stricter side.

Rude Rude Rude Staff

Worst staff we have ever encountered. Called the sheriff's office and had 2 patrol cars come to my lot 30 minutes after I arrived because my wife was a few minutes away with our Senior Discount card Yes that is right Senior Discount Card although I showed them my License and paid for reservation. I broke the rules by not waiting on my wife and that was not going to be tolerated. Total scene was absurd, and best of all none of the staff or office could care less. We left never to return after being treated like Geriatric Criminals. You have to laugh not to cry.

Very quiet with great access to the lake

We had a private campsite, woods on both sides and we couldn’t see any other campers. The lake views were really nice, easy access to the water with our kayaks and floats. The mosquitoes were really horrible, but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay!

Spectacular views

Our site (#7) was right on the lake, as many of them are at this campground. We have an RV and even though they say they are 50 amp, they must have recently updated them and added 30 amp. We were able to launch our kayaks right from our campsite and saw several others launch boats from theirs. Serene views everywhere we looked. We were there during the week and it was very quiet.

Great place to camp

We had a great time at this COE campground. The sites in our area were all on the water with easy access. Our site had a picnic table, grill and fire ring. The sites are large with plenty of space between neighboring sites. We had 30 & 50 amp electric hookups and water. There are no sewer hookups at the sites but they do have dump stations.

Beautiful!

We camped for the weekend. Our site was big and we were not on top of our neighbors. Great access to the water so getting our kayaks in and out of the water was very easy. The bathrooms were nice and very clean but there was no shower.

Beautiful Waterfront Camping

Holiday Campground on Westpoint Lake is a beautiful COE campground where probably 90% of the sites are waterfront. The park is well maintained, sites are large and roomy. There are two group areas that each have five sites that can be reserved for as one group site. They have water & electric hookups (50amp & 30 amp).

The only down side is this great campground is seasonal and closed September - March.

Beautiful Shoreline Sites

There are 163 sites to choose from, and many of them have gentle sloping banks for easy access to the water. The sites here have beautiful, scenic views! There are also two group-only areas, which is nice for Scouts or family campouts. Clean restrooms, showers, and laundry rooms. And free loaner PFDs can be picked up at the gatehouse.
