Pricey for non residents

Nice view by a lake but...

Wyoming state parks seem to be hostile to non residents. It"s cheaper to stay at a regular rv park and you have better amenities.

You can only reserve online. Online resevation fee $8. Fee for electric site $18. Electric fee additional $10.
Non resident fee $12. Plus tax. $2.34. Then the only way to pay online was a credit card so there was a $1.26 convenience fee. Nothing about this was convenient.

Been through Wyoming a few times. First time staying at a Wyoming state park. Possibly the last.

Spendy place for out of state

Nice place, lots of flies, we wanted a site that said it was reserved I asked a ranger and said yes it’s reserved no one ever showed up for the 4 days we were there. The price is double if you’re from out of state wtf. We moved one time and both sites had lots of trash left behind from previous campers.

This place is fine.

Pros: most of the spots have some shade and an awesome cement picnic table. They’re also spaced far enough apart that each one has privacy. Pat’s point has a nice trail where you can sit and watch the sunset. During the week things are quiet.

Cons: while the showers were nice, 2 of the 4 were locked the entire week. The change machine was consistently out of order. No one kept their dogs on leashes despite the posted signs. Our first night a couple had a loud, drunken argument, ending with the wife telling her child (maybe 7) to F*** off. The camp host didn’t really do anything about noise or when cars were parked blocking the road.

Beautiful Park!

Loved this park, the bay was very peaceful.   Most sites have water and electric.   There is a dump station at the front of the park.  Spaces have cement picnic tables and fire pits, but due to high risk, fires were not allowed while we were there.  Good spacing between sites and bathrooms through out.  Central shower house may be a distance from your site.  Our site was not very level, but we were able to manage.   There are some cabins also.

Nice lake camping

Cottonwood campsites are nice. Close walk to lake shore to play, fish or paddle board. #19 or #18 are our favorites. Especially on the 4th of July for fireworks.

Beautiful Area to Camp In

We loved this place. In the Tatonka campground area, we had water and power with rv dumps at the entrance. We were close to the lake. Quiet and spacious sites. Most rv sites are on a little of a hill but level enough. Birds chirping in the morning was a fabulous way to wake up in this beautiful area. Definitely reccomended and would come back again.

Fun lake

There is fun lake for families and friends of all ages about 5 minutes away. Rocks to jump off, live music and boats are allowed. The campground had nice space, fire rings and picnic tables. Fun campgrounds keepers and a pretty river to watch the sun go down on!
