Calm and beautiful

We stayed in RV site #6 and it was close to the main road, bathrooms, and water. There is a clean water spigot steps away from the campsites. We mainly fished and paddle boarded and enjoyed the calmness of the no wake zone. There are not a lot of trees by the RV campsites but the trees and water are a short walk from the sites. Day use parking was next to the site so there was some traffic in and out of the area throughout the day.

Quite and peacefull lakeside camp

The campground is right next to the water, with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding trees which i was pleasantly suprised to see since a decient group of trees seems rare to find in alot of Wyoming. It’s a peaceful spot where you can really unwind.

The campsites were well-spaced with plenty of shade, and we had enough room to spread out and relax. There were a few other campers around, but it didn’t feel cramped or noisy. We enjoyed just sitting by the fire, watching the sunset, and listening to the breeze through the trees.

The facilities were basic, vault toilets. It’s definitely more of a simple, nature-focused campground, so if you’re looking for luxury amenities, this isn’t the place. But if you’re after quiet, beauty, and time outdoors, it’s perfect.

Lakeside Camping

This time of year, I was the only one in the campground. Very beautiful sunset views and very quiet. For non-residents, a bit pricey for no water, but there are pit toilets. I would highly recommend!
