Good location for Devil’s Tower

New owners 3 months ago. The new owners are upgrading this campground. No water hookup or sewer but they have electric. Pull through sites make it easy. Not much road noise. Free bottled drinking water.

Great location for visiting Devils Tower

I spoke to the owner who bought it a month ago over the phone. She got me hooked up with a campsite, explained they were having issues with their water and offered a discount. Not a big deal for us as we still have plenty of water in our camper. Toliets were working!!!... Very nice people!

You can tell they are on the verge of making this a nice campground with nice finishing touches. They have great customer service, a cute little gift shop and a small cafe to get some food. Also, cute clean bathrooms and showers. Right the road, but you really don't really notice the noise not a lot of traffic and easy to pull into with a truck and camper. We booked it for convenience to the tower and it was very reasonably priced. Cute spot! Would stay here again.

Great View and Hospitality

This camp will be sold end of May, 2023 The current owners and staff were very nice. Restaurant food was excellent. The view of Devil’s Tower was superb. The campsites were level with electricity. No dump station anywhere and water was available only from a tap at the bathhouse. Bathhouse was adequate. 7 sites available.

Friendly family run campground

Camped here during the Sturgis Rally. Road noise was an issue until evening but fun to watch the bikes drive by. The sites are close to the road. There are two restroom facilities with showers so it offers nice privacy. Friendly privately run small campground

Great View of Devils Tower

This campground could be a gem with a little TLC and updating the campsites to be FHU.  There is one building with 2 bathrooms with showers in both.  They could clean them once a day, a suggested improvement.  RV sites are electric only.  Water is located in a strange place on the side of both buildings on the property but not easy to get to.  The majority of the sites were unlevel gravel with a picnic table.  We ate at the on site restaurant, it was ok but really pricey. There is no dump station on site.

Close to highway

Close to Devil's Tower (5 min), but right on highway. You truly can see the tower from the campground. Found out later that the much nicer Belle Fourche CG inside the monument, which is first come, first served, was not full at 5:30pm. Talking to the ranger, it sounded like this was common, but that it would fill by dark. Devil's view RV had a small restaurant and ice cream and a gift shop. Owners were very nice. No water, only electric. Port-a-potty bathrooms. Sites close together and loud right on the road. Our camp site was on a hill and hard to level our trailer. At $47 per night, a little pricy.

Convenient roadside campground with a great view

Very convenient pull through rv sites right down the road from the National Monument. Staff was very nice and having a restaurant right there was extra convenient. Prices were pretty high but we expected that. There were only 3 to 4 other campers there in mid July so we almost had the place to ourselves. Fantastic view of the tower at sunset!

Camel Trek - Night 9

Super convenient location to Devil’s Tower, open year-round. Friendly folks running this place. Rates were a little high for the off-season but with no other full-hookup options nearby you’re kinda stuck with it.

I will say, the restroom and shower cabin was really a nice surprise.

Magnificent view

The campground is on top of a ridge with an unobstructed view of the sunset and Devil’s Tower. No water at the sites, but it had great bathrooms and showers. Friendly owners and very nice gift shop and store and Burgers etc. Recommend the campground

Okay Option if park campgrpind is full

A small campground close to the park. Right on the road, but the staff were nice. They had picnic tables and very nice showers!

Close to Devil’s tower, but tried to charge $30 / night for camping. Not worth the price, went to Keyhole SP instead.

Roadside camping

I arrived too late to get a site within the park, so the campground host there directed me to this small private campground just a mile away. I’m a tent camper, so they gave me a grassy site literally right in front of the bath house. The campground is right on the road, and there was some traffic all night, as well as bright lights. The bath house is very clean, and I slept ok despite the traffic. I heard Coyotes and Great-horned Owls! Not an ideal place, but did the trick.

We were surprised to find we could camp at devils tower. We snagged one of the last sites and got our senior discount to boot! The facilities were good, no showers but clean. Stores outside the park have supplies. It was chilly the morning we woke up. This is a nice stop if visiting devils tower.
