Like Staying in a Parking Lot

The good: Friendly staff and decent playground. Laundry facilities and showers. The bad: Sites are super close together = no privacy. Chain-link fence obstructing view. No pool. Appears that there are many full timers as well. Would not stay here again due to very small spaces.

Pretty Run Down, Sites Super Close Together

An ok spot for a night. The bad: Playground very run down, had picnic table at our site that was cracked on the table part, sites very close together (no privacy), no access or view of the river, in a questionable part of town. The good: pool was open and there appeared to have laundry and free showers. Staff was nice. I most likely would not stay here again if I had the choice.

Decent Campground Close Enough to Many Activities

Decent campground. Pool, laundry, nice playground, ponds and basketball hoop. Less than 15 min to Indiana Dunes National Park.

Great Campground for Kids, Lots of Amenities

Decent sites with full hook ups. Little shade with small trees next to about each site. Gas, propane, laundry room, beach area, small boat rentals, good sized convenience store with ice, beer, snacks, milkshake machine, etc. Enough to do for a day or two without going to the water park. Overall felt pretty exposed but the amenities made up for it.

Beautiful Area to Camp In

We loved this place. In the Tatonka campground area, we had water and power with rv dumps at the entrance. We were close to the lake. Quiet and spacious sites. Most rv sites are on a little of a hill but level enough. Birds chirping in the morning was a fabulous way to wake up in this beautiful area. Definitely reccomended and would come back again.

Great Place to Recreate

Cool place. VERY bumpy and dusty gravel road to camp sites. Vault toilets and trash cans around but no hook ups for RV. Fun little playground at the Peewee Point camp area. No privacy between sites but enough space for comfort.

Decent Campground With Lots of Ammenities

Check in desk was super nice! We needed to check in by 6pm or call if going to be as late as 8pm. My understanding is that after 8pm they don't like to let people check in. They have bathrooms, showers, laundry (bring quarters or maybe ask desk), fun playground, horseshoe area. Sites pretty snug but enough to be okay with it. Hot Springs next door and able to get a pass from front desk to get access (still need to pay).

A Great Convenient Location

We stayed at one of the 'dry' sites and were pleasantly surprised that we had water. Looks like they are finishing up installing the electric hook ups for the now currently dry sites. Some road noise but not too bad. Great trails along the Yakima River and a fun little playground for the kiddos (I believe there is another playground being built as well). Check in was super easy - contactless packet at the front entry of the main building. Easy to get to. Definitely would recommend as long as a little road noise doesn't bother you.

A Great Place to Camp or Explore for the Day

RV and tent sites available. No hook-ups but fire pit and picnic table. We camped here 3/23/21 and felt like we had the park to ourselves. A fun little playground for the kiddos and plenty of trails to explore. Hot Tip - make sure to check out the sunset at the bluff area. Amazing views.
