At first it looks like a very busy camping area, but if you drive for a bit you can find yourself a nice little private out of the way camping spot to set up tent.

Cottonwood campsites are nice. Close walk to lake shore to play, fish or paddle board. #19 or #18 are our favorites. Especially on the 4th of July for fireworks.
