Tight sites

Most RV sites are very narrow, but location is a short drive to Seattle.

Nice quiet 15 site campground

Beautiful tall semi old growth trees everywhere. The 15 sites are well maintained and form two loops around three portapotties. There appear to be other bathrooms but they were locked up. This place is the definition of a shady spot for pigmentally challenged white boys like me. There are a…

Pretty nice place

Enjoyed the sound of the river right there. Restroom was not too smelly, no tp when we arrived, but most of us prepare for that. Would go again but would be more selective of site. Our spot was a little more marshy but the river spots looked fantastic.

Ocean Fog

We stayed on a Sunday night, arrived when there was only 3 tent sites remaining. The campground is right at the ferry dock so you will get that early morning fog horn. Easy walk up the hill to the fort. We had a bald Eagle in the morning which was awesome. The restrooms are very clean. Showers are…

Great place close to Seattle

Camano Island State Park was a great campground so close to Seattle. We stayed in site 24 with friends on either side of us. The campsites were roomy with enough separation from our neighbors. Though 24 and 37 (I think) may have been a little close if it weren’t our friends. Some sites on the other…

Good spot to relax

Nice little campground with most sites fairly private. Water pump was not in order for pur visit but not a big deal. Good hiking in the area and road in was in good shape. That made for easy access to other nearby rec areas. No good creek access from in the campground but the icy waters were…

Noisy

The campground sits on a lovely lake. Water temperature was perfect in mid-July. That being said, the camp itself was filled with screaming children, adults speaking loud enough to fill a stadium, and frisbees dropping on concrete well into the night. If it’s peace and relaxation you’re after, you…

Quiet & Spacious

We had an amazing time here. The campground was quiet, not too crowded (Sunday - Tuesday) and so close to many trails. A quick walk to the river was a nice way to finish the day. We stayed in 17 and although it was near a road, it was private and you could not hear any road noise after the first…

Beautiful Park

Very clean and well cared for. Beach a bit small for volume of users. It is also a rock based beach. Pretty views. Nice trails

Short Trip from Seattle

Loved our weekend at Middle Fork!

We had one of the group campsites, and very easily fit 9 people. Toilets were very well maintained and the host was selling firewood.

The river is only a five minute walk away, and we spent most of one day there. I was very surprised by how quiet it was for only…

No Privacy, but Convenient

This was the first stop on a trip to the Olympic Peninsula. Glad we were only here one night. It was kind of spendy and didn't offer any privacy. Was with a friend who set up a tent and she was just out in a field behind my van fully exposed.

There was a nice walk down to the river and beach.…

Best WA State Park Camping So Far

Nice clean, spacious and private sites. Peaceful as well with the only noises being the expected kids playing and normal campground noise. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The showers were pay to use, probably our main complaint since for $35 for a tent site usually means it includes free…
