Convenient highway stop

An easy pull off from I-70. Plenty of space. A group of RVers were there when I showed up. There was a small elevated plateau to the left that I went up (4x4) to set up camp. No bathrooms or water but an easy stop off the highway for the night. Nice views. Stars.

Easy Camping Close to i70

The whole area is gorgeous, but finding an actual camping requires a little more driving. But if you’re fine with a gravel lot, it’s a super easy rest area for road trippers. Saw a Pronghorn this morning! There are cool destinations—like Buckhorn Draw petroglyphs—accessible via this exit.

Easy stopping point

Feels like the middle of no where, it’s just a flat space right off the highway. View is alright, there’s much better in utah, but it’s an easy place to pull off and sleep for the night if you don’t have good camp plans or just want something quick and close to the highway. You can hear the highway traffic but other than that it’s a quiet spot.

Basically an exit

Amazing star gazing. Right by the highway. We arrived late but it was unclear if there was any designated area. Basically lots of dirt on the side of the road, but we ran out of options. Didn’t feel particularly safe, but giving it 2 stars for the actual stars we could see, and the lack of people

Great area

There are lots of areas for dispersed camping for any size rig and almost any size group. I plan on making this a regular area to go camping at every year.
