Managed by the Bureau of Land Management's Price Field Office, Wedge Rim Overlook Campground sits on the canyon rim above the San Rafael River, where some sites sit directly at the edge of a 1,200-foot near-vertical drop. The access road west of the entrance junction is rough and rocky, and driving it after dark requires real caution. Toilets and trash service are on-site; no water is available. The area east of the junction draws sightseers and has no established camp spots. Campers wanting a developed alternative can look at Wedge Overlook or browse campsites near Castle Dale for a wider range of options.
