Lots of options

Along the road, there are lots of exposed options and a few camping options in the trees. I drove the entire road and would not recommend doing that without four wheel drive. Was pleased with all the options though. Stay in the trees to avoid the wind.

Just a rest stop

Great views but right off the road. Not much space to park or camp.

Great little hideaway

Spent one night here on a long road trip. I was the only one there. Very easy to find. Felt safe, nice view of the river. The only negative was the trains going by at night. Quite loud.

Convenient place to park for the night

Shared the parking lot with a few other overnighters. Convenient and easy, and not far from the beach.

Convenient highway stop

An easy pull off from I-70. Plenty of space. A group of RVers were there when I showed up. There was a small elevated plateau to the left that I went up (4x4) to set up camp. No bathrooms or water but an easy stop off the highway for the night. Nice views. Stars.

Not a campsite

This is literally just a roadside pull-off. Only really useful in a pinch. No space for a tent. Sleep in your vehicle.

Everything I needed

Free with the purchase of the adventure pass. I was here during the week and it was quiet and uneventful. Plenty of shade and simple. A bit of traffic noise but not too bad.

I stayed here as part of my 2 month camping journey through SoCal. Really easy site to find.

Toilets were clean. Bring your own water.
