Great Spot for fair money

I’m in general shocked how expensive the campground prices in the USA are. But it seems like that’s how it is. I’ve stayed at a couple so far and every campground had only basic amenities, sometimes not even showers. But the ACT campground is the first who surprised me with a great equipped kitchen and a nice, small layout. Restrooms are clean and spacious. It’s next to a bigger street so it’s a bit noisy but not too bad. All in all I can recommend staying here. Best price/ value ratio so far

Clean and well equipped

I found this campground via The Dyrt, looking for a site to pitch my tent during a busy weekend. This place is great if you motorcycle camp like me. Clean showers and toilets, it comes with a full kitchen with some free basic staples and indoor relax area. Outside are a grill, pizza oven and more stoves.

The tent sites itself are all you need. Picknick table, fire ring and leveled sand patch for the tent.

The location is a bit outside town and along a busy road, but that didn’t bother me.

Ask about cancellation policy.

Location is great, didn’t even mind the traffic noise from the main road although it is loud. Site was fine, kitchen set up a pleasant amenity and respite from the heat . Bathrooms need fixing, toilets in men/womens rms had sitting water (?) or did not flush properly . Cancellation policy is that you need to cancel 30 days before arrival or no refunds. Also, have a working cell phone to contact staff with questions as staff is not in office ( at least during our stay)

Ok for one night

Basic campground, ok for one night

We had a tilted spot, unfortunately we had no wedges with the rental rv to fix this.

Laundry facility was nice and clean

3 stars because of the noise from the highway next to it

Very tight for big rigs!

This campground was ok. They do have a nice program for recycling, which is nice, and they are close to Arches and Canyonlands, bike trails and town, but their sites are on a hill and are not meant for big rigs, and even some sites were tough for smaller rigs. Their driveway is very steep, so unfortunately a lot of people bottom out rear racks. We met really great people here, and for that Im grateful, but was not a good set up for a 40' fifth wheel. Unfortunately I didnt take any pictures of the campground, but the area is amazing!

Great affordable spot in Moab

Stayed here over thanksgiving with a group. We rented a room since the temps are dropping in the desert. The kitchen is awesome - stocked with pots and pans and plenty of room to cook even if you’re sharing the space with other groups. Same with the bathrooms - really clean, spacious and hot water.

Only con would be that the rooms still get chilly at night. If you’re visiting in the winter, consider bringing an extra blanket or a space heater! They provide sheets + towels.

Great place for big group

Both times I've stayed here we stayed in the big yurt in the center. You have access to great bathrooms and showers right next door, the yurt has AC for during the night, and you're in Moab close to all kinds of outdoor activities and the Green River for rafting. The yurt has plenty of room to setup beds and places to play games. The AC isn't amazing though so it's not somewhere you would want to hang out in for too long during the day.

Nice, but compact park.

We stayed at the ACT Campground in Moab, Utah in September 2021. This is a very scenic location perched on a hilltop in Moab which offers amazing views all around. The entrance into the park can be tricky as it is on a slope so pull in SLOWLY. Our site was flat and level but some larger motorhomes and toy haulers must take extra care when pulling into their sites as some are sloped. We found the staff here friendly and helpful when asked about area attractions. There is a bit of traffic noise here, but it didn’t bother us at all. We travel with dogs and there is not much space to potty them because the park is so compact. It is in a great location near downtown and National Parks. Moab is a must see and this campground would serve most campers to a wonderful stay. We will be back!! Nice clean park

Very nice park with a nice view. Located pretty close to the highway, so you do get road noise, but it quiets down in the evening quite a bit. The sites are tricky for the bigger rigs, but the location is nice and the park is well kept and clean. We switched sites to P4 and it worked well for us.

Great amenities but bad tent sites

Laundry, large kitchen, communal space, and showers. Everything you need on the road but the tent sites barely fit a tent and are squeezed against the fence. Stayed in van and the spot was tight.

Good location but that road noise!

We’ll equipped group kitchen inside and outdoors. Grills, stoves even a pizza oven in the out door kitchen. Plenty for everyone. Bathhouse, laundry and grounds are well maintained. The staff are friendly and responsive. The only downside is the highway noise. Keep you ac fan on to mask the traffic noise.

Nice place to stay.

This campground is not bad. Right next to the highway so there's pretty constant dull noise. But great showers, kitchens, outdoor grill and fire pits. Great views of the Moab valley. And close to everything Moab has to offer.

Very few tent campsites in back by parking. Nice area and easy camping but not necessarily a beautiful campground. Community room w kitchen too! Warm bathrooms with free showers!

A great place to stay!

I’ve stayed here several times. In fact every time I go to Moab I stay here. The staff is friendly, and the community kitchen is a wonderful addition. It feels like a comiunity because all the campers use it. I recommend it to every one! It is also nice to know that I’ve reduced my carbon foot print when I stay there. The owner collects our biodegradable trash and makes compost. It’s perfect place to stay for the environmental friendly.

Small Campground Big on Amenities

This is a Great Campground, right before you get down into the busier side of Moab, great spot close to everything, that's around the area. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The camp it shelf has tent site's which we stood at, but also RV sites, and even small rooms. They have a community outdoor and indoor kitchen, very clean restrooms with nice showers, as well as small helpful things like, a community closeline to dry off close, a small rec room with lot's of information. The campground is right off the main highway, close to traffic, but hidden away as well, you can hear the car's travel, but that kind of thing dosen't bother me. When we went it was a full house, all site's were booked, it was quite busy, but not overly crowded. So it's a small campground but enough space for everyone. Also this campground is the best value around over $20 cheaper per night than anyone else around for our tent site. The tent site, are close together in there own area, but elevated to give you your own private space, each one had a tent dyrt pad, a firepit and a bench, all are numbered making them easy to find, you also have your own dedicated parking spot. For being so close to everything Moab has to offer and the best price around, I would highly recommend this campground, and I know this is the place I will come back to time and time again.

Small campsite in town for everyone

We showed up to this site not knowing exactly what it was. It was partly under construction for expansion when we arrived. But the site was still perfect for what we needed. It was probably the most modern placed we stayed. We parked our campervan for a view nights, but the place accommodates RV's, tents, vans, and even hotel like rooms. The main building has laundry, showers, bathrooms, and a beautiful kitchen with dining room. The host was super nice and informative. The NP was but a 5 minute drive away. I always recommend this place when friends go to Moab
