Rough road, great views

I recently ventured to the La Sal Loop Road Dispersed Camping site and was truly rewarded for the initial challenge of the steep incline and sharp turn at the beginning of the road. The panoramic vistas of Moab valley and the La Sal Mountain range were absolutely breathtaking, especially since the site is perched above the winter snow line. It's a spacious, open area with a dirt base, bathed in sunlight which is great for those with solar setups. While there's little in the way of privacy, the views more than make up for it. I got a solid AT&T 4G signal, but Verizon users might find connectivity limited to voice only. Perfect for a short, sunny getaway!

Big lake is the best lake

I hesitate to write a review because of how special this place is. Big lake and deep lake are so much fun. Camping here is my all time favorite. Fish, salamanders, cougars, and plenty of elk all over make it a wonderful place to camp.

Fun view of river

Not the best option in Moab but definitely a good one that serves it's purpose. Great views of the canyon and Colorado river.

Great place to chill after hiking

Nothing too fancy but has everything you need.

Good place to explore

Decent campground with amazing scenery. Be sure to bring bear spray!

Great place to stay

Everything is beautiful is this part of America so it doesn't need to be said how amazing the views are here.

Great amenities

Ultimate glamping location. We have stayed here many times for everything from biking trips, climbing, and rafting trips. Huge fan of the bathrooms and showers they did a great job with them.

Beautiful views of the Rio grande

Such a fun escape. The Rio grande was cold but worth the swim. We had a great time and only saw a few other people.

Beautiful night sky

Super remote and totally worth it. Great dispersed campsite with beautiful views and the best night sky because there is no light pollution.

Great for cooler weather

Quick and easy camp site for an adventure in skull valley. We had the place to ourselves and had no issues finding it. Great views and a fun place to hang out alone in the desert.

Simple but great

Great place to stay for a few days while fishing. We only slept here as we spent most of the day fishing and it was perfect for our needs. It wasn't crowded and we had everything we needed.

Great views and easily accessible

Great and easy place to stay of you are headed to Sedona from the Phoenix area. It wasn't too far off course and we had the whole place to ourselves. We didn't see it hear another car the entire evening and night.
