We love Marina Dunes RV Resort! This was our first stay here and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We love the proximity to the beach and the beautiful dunes. The park was very clean and well-maintained. The staff was great and very welcoming. Thank you to Christy who made our stay extra fun! We will definitely be back! Thanks guys!😎💗
Fiesta Grande RV Resort in Casa Grande, Arizona is a nice 55+ age qualified RV resort in the sunny Arizona desert. The staff here is very welcoming and friendly. They have almost every activity you can think of for a healthy and fun stay. The resort has a full activity calendar with the days full of classes, activities, and shows. The sites are FHU and we were surprised how large and clean they are. If you are a Trails Collection member, this resort is free for two weeks at a time. It’s a great deal and we would highly recommend it if you are in the area. 👍🏻😬

We stayed here in Jan/Feb and really enjoyed the sunny, warm weather and vibe at Cactus Gardens. The staff was friendly and there are lots of activities to do. There are 30/50 amp FHU sites and all are back-in. They are a little narrow, but a wide road for maneuvering. There is a pool, huge dog park, darts, shuffleboard, park, billiards, library, laundry, and community room. It is centrally located in Yuma and close to everything, including the Mexico border. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. 👍🏻😬

Sunset Palm RV Park is a very nice, clean, and friendly RV park in Yuma, Arizona. The spaces are oversized and have parking for 2 vehicles! All sites are gravel and have a concrete patio and walkway. They are all 30/50 amp FHU back-in sites. The roads in the park are wide and newly paved which makes parking a snap! This is an age qualified park (55+), and life here is very laid back. The dog run is huge and very clean!!! This park does not have a swimming pool, but shares the pool with it’s sister park next door, which is just a quick walk. This park is convenient to everything Yuma has to offer, including the Mexico border. We really enjoyed our stay here and we would definitely recommend Sunset Palm RV Park. 👍🏻💗

We stayed on this BLM land during the Quartzsite RV & Sports Show in January. The fee is $40 for 14 days. There is so much open land to camp on and it is level for the most part with beautiful 360’ views of mountains and desert. It was also very clean with no trash to speak of. The land is right off 95 and next to the big tents with easy access to the show.

Suni Sands RV Resort with FHU in Yuma, Arizona is a friendly RV park near everything Yuma has to offer. They have a great pool that is kept at 82 degrees year round and lots of activities to keep you busy! The park has a mix of full timers and RV sites and is a Trails Collection park. It is an age qualified (55+) resort. We loved that it is located next to Walmart and they have a dedicated security gate right into the Walmart parking lot! You can push your shopping cart right to your site and the come around and collect them and return them to Walmart. Talk about service! Check out this park if you are in the Yuma area! 👍🏻😉

The Thousand Trails Verde Valley RV Resort is a lovely Thousand Trails RV park located in Cottonwood, Arizona in the Verde Valley. The park is very well-kept and maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. The premium sites are unbelievably huge in size and have upgraded FHU. The views from them are worth the extra $5-7.50 per night alone! They are level and gravel which makes parking a dream! The amenities here include pool, sauna, community room, shuffleboard, volleyball, basketball, tennis, mini golf, hiking trails, game room, pool tables, horseshoes, ping pong, dog runs, etc. The park is located just down the road from Cottonwood and the historic downtown district. There is a lot of things to do nearby including hiking trails, wineries and vineyards, shopping, historical sites, state parks and more! The only downside we have found to this park is the Wifi. Our signals have been pretty spotty here. This is definitely one of the nicer Thousand Trails parks we’ve been to and we will certainly be back. 👍🏻

The is a beautiful Thousand Trails RV Resort in Palm Springs, California! The park is large, very spacious and so clean! The gorgeous Palm trees are a little bit of a parking hazard, but they were here before we were! 😊 And besides, they are so beautiful to look at every day. The park feels like a day on beach with white sand to park on in most spaces, towering Palm trees, and brightly colored tropical flowers. What a treat in the winter! We are here in November and December and daytime high’s are in the low 80’s. The park is split in half with one side 30 amp FHU and the other half 50 amp FHU. For TT members, there is not an additional charge for 50 amp. Quite a deal! There is plenty of room to get out and walk in this park, along with a nice dog park, playground, billiards room, swimming pool and spa, horseshoes, 8 pickle ball courts, many laundry rooms and restrooms, and community recreation room. The surrounding mountains ranges are pretty amazing, too. This park is close to it all in the Palm Springs area and everything is within a short drive. Joshua Tree National Park and the Salton Sea is just over a half hour away. The Thousand Trails Palm Springs RV Resort is perfect and we will definitely be visiting again!

This is a Thousand Trails RV Resort located in the city of Las Vegas. The park is large and the sites are pretty tight. It does fit large rigs, but your neighbors are close, and it is FHU. There are a lot of full-timers at this park. The RV resort is decently maintained and has multiple laundry facilities and restrooms. There is a large heated pool and a nice deck area for relaxing. They have large, fenced dog run that could be cleaner. There is also an office and community room where there is live music and other entertainment during the week. This park does have tiny houses for rent and they are well kept. It is in a decent location, close to shopping and casinos. Downtown Las Vegas is just a couple miles away and a quick drive. The resort is located on busy roads which can be noisy at times. There is a ranger station at the entrance and security. The park had some issues with electricity being rewired and they were currently down 86 spots, but we were told they would be fixed soon. Overall, a nice park and a good stay close to everything.

What a treat the Desert Skies RV Resort in Mesquite, Nevada is! The park is large and very spacious with FHU back-in and pull-through sites. The sites are double width with a gravel parking half and a concrete patio half, allowing for plenty of room for all your vehicles and toys. There are also some park model mobile homes that have full-time residents sprinkled in. It is located next to a beautiful golf course and near town and casinos. There is an office, mailroom, gym, laundry room, billiard room, restrooms, pool, hot tub, mini-golf course, dog runs, driving net, pickle ball courts, and access to desert trails for walking. So much fun to be had! All of the facilities here are very clean and there is no trash in the park. All of this and 360’ mountain views! If you are near Mesquite, this RV resort is worth a stay.

We stayed at Zion West RV park in October 2021. This is a small RV park with a mix of full-time and traveling RVers. It has a variety of sites including pull-through, back-in and tent sites. We had a FHU site with 50 amp service. This park doesn’t offer a lot of amenities, but does have showers and laundry room. It’s in the small town of Leeds, Utah and is about 30 minutes west Zion National Park. It is also near many trails and fun things to do. We enjoyed our stay here and it was quiet and relaxing. We will stay here again next time we visit Zion NP.

We stayed at Zion RV resort in Virgin, Utah just outside Zion National Park and nearby towns in October 2021. This is a very nice full-service RV resort that offers a variety of pull-through and back-in sites, and cabins. The sites are 50amp FHU, fairly long, and have nice spacing between sites. The park is pristine and offers a large inviting pool and hot tub, laundry room, playground, dog runs, propane fill station, and a real lodge with lots of apparel, home goods, ice, beer and other beverage choices. There is access to the Virgin River from the campground. We really enjoyed our stay here just minutes from Zion and other local attractions. The only downside was wifi coverage if you have Verizon. This was spotty and one bar at most. We highly recommend this RV resort. To see videos on this campground and others, visit our YouTube channel: Jeff & Steff’s Excellent Adventure.
We stayed at the Arlington RV Park and Marina in Arlington, Oregon in September 2021. This is a nice, small park that is directly beside the Columbia River on the Gorge. The sites are FHU and are level but a bit tight. We did get our fifth wheel in with careful maneuvering. Be forewarned that it is very windy here on the gorge and we would advise getting your leveling jacks down without using Legos so as to have extra firm footing. Also, be careful not to leave your awnings out unattended. They also have boondocking on the upper part of the lot directly on the river. It was much too windy and cool here for my liking so we stayed in the lower FHU sites. Very beautiful area here to walk and enjoy the river and city park. We would definitely stay here again. We stayed at Cascade Locks KOA in June 2021. We were late booking so had to camp in a 30 amp pull-thru site. The site we stayed in was not very level so be sure to bring your legos to assist in leveling. The park is older but is run very well. There is a large selection of sites including pull-thru, back-in, tents, and cabins. Our site had cable hookup for tv. We did not have much luck with the WiFi, however. There is also a nice pool and a great gift shop which we used to pick up a few supplies and ice cream 😬. There is a train that runs along the back of the campground which can be loud if your site is close by. The train noise did not bother us in the center of the park where we were. All in all, a nice Oregon park off interstate 84 by the Columbia Gorge. If you have kids they will have a ball.
We stayed at Grande Hot Springs RV Resort in June and September 2021. We really enjoyed our stay at this park. We stayed in site 2 which was a large pull-thru site for our fifth wheel. Sites are long, flat, and level with 50 amp, water and sewer hookups. We enjoyed the great walking paths around the perimeter of the park to walk our dogs. The pool and hot tub are heated geothermally and are warm, soothing, and oh, so relaxing. We can’t say enough about the professional staff, who were warm, friendly, and helpful. We even had some packages delivered here, which was a big bonus for us. We a lot of other friendly campers here. The WiFi is top-notch. This is our favorite Oregon campground and we highly recommend a stay here. For videos on the campground, visit YouTube: Jeff & Steff’s Excellent Adventure.
We stayed at the Ambassador RV Resort in Caldwell, Idaho in July and September 2021. This is one of the nicest, cleanest, well-maintained parks we have stayed at. This RV resort is a short drive off I84 and when you pull through the front gate, you become immediately aware that you are in for a great stay. The park is impeccably maintained. Huge pull-thru sites on level river rock pads. Directly beside the rock pad is a wide concrete patio area followed by another wide grassy area. Tons of room to set-up and relax outside. The pool, hot tub, and steam room are centrally located and are clean and inviting. The office and maintenance staff are top notch. You can even drop your garbage bag at the back of your camper in the morning and they pick it up and dump it for you. If you need propane, they will pick up your tank and bring it back to you. The resort also has the nicest gated dog run area we have ever seen. The WiFi worked great and they have cable. It was an absolute joy to stay here and we went back a second time this summer because we enjoyed it so much! For videos of the resort, visit our YouTube channel: Jeff & Steff’s Excellent Adventure.
We stayed at Oregon Trail Campground in Twin Falls, Idaho in September 2021. This park is a FHU pull-thru site and also has back-in sites. Our site was flat and level and a snap to set up our fifth wheel. The staff here was very nice and helpful with restaurant recommendations. The only negative for us was that we had to take our pets to the pet area, which was at the far corner of the park, and pets are not allowed to potty on any trees or shrubs. Signs were everywhere stating this. It was difficult to get our dogs quickly to the dog area, which is very small and swampy, when they really had to pee. Other than that we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again. We stayed at Haggerman RV Village in July 2021. This is a nice, shady RV park. We had a large pull-thru site with water, sewer, and electric that accommodated our fifth wheel and dually Ram with no problems. Be forewarned that this park is green and beautiful because sprinklers run at night and may hit your camp chairs and bbq. The staff do warn you about this in advance (thank you). The nearby town offers a great wood oven pizza place called Fire Pie Pizza. There is plenty of room to walk your pups and just sit back and relax as it is remarkably quiet here. They do have a propane fill station and nice office staff. We highly recommend this park. To view videos on this park and others, please visit our YouTube channel: Jeff & Steff’s Excellent Adventure.
We stayed at Snake River RV Park in Idaho Falls, Idaho in September 2021. This park is a FHU pull-thru site and also has back-in sites. Our site was flat and level and a snap to set up our fifth wheel. It was windy and dusty during our stay. There was a nice pool and lots of grassy areas to walk our dogs.
