Pack Creek Campground

Pictures looked like nicely spaced out RV spots with fences for privacy. We had a spot out in the middle of the trailer park baking in the sun with no privacy or shade whatsoever. Website says there’s breakfast and lunch hours but that’s a lie. There’s “self serve laundry” but no change machine, so you must either bring $3.50 for each load or you’re screwed. Tried going to the office during open hours to get change so we could do laundry before the very strict check out (or we’d be charged extra) but nobody was there and there was a sign to call a number if you needed assistance so I tried calling 4 times within a half hour with no answer. There’s a “dish washing station” with the hot water line broken off and barely any pressure on the cold line. Every park in the area was expensive so we went for this one since it seemed to have a few extra “perks”. Too bad we couldn’t use any of them. You also have to pay a $5 deposit to use the toilets/showers which is supposed to be refundable but who knows if I’ll get that back since there was nobody to check out with either. We basically paid $75 to have electric and water hookups for the night.Will not be back.
