Very clean and picturesque park, would come back for sure
This little park is a nice, cozy place to stay. Clean with well spaced lots. The staff are very friendly. Great views. Will be returning.
My 1st time camping there and I feel in love and will return... The deer coming to ur campsite is amazing and the sunset is breathe taking.. I'll be returning soon with my 87yr gma for one last camping trip with her..
Nice and pretty quiet park despite it being so close to town and freeways.
Have you really found an effective way to play Block Blast?
Meditatation is easy here. our peace here nice and quiet. Find ye for real. Love this camp site.
Great views, clean sites, however there's very limited shade.
PROs Clean, very accommodating, exceptionally friendly staff, great place for kids.
CONs: Typical RV park, tight spaces, minimal privacy
There are spacious sites but the amenities leave something to be desired. The showers weren’t that clean and there are no restrooms. I had to call for the code to get into the showers and WiFi access. It seems these should have been in the confirmation emails.
Midway Pines RV Park is indeed a gem! The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and well-maintained facilities make it an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway. I totally understand why you feel so comfortable there. Speaking of relaxing, if you're looking to pass the time while you're enjoying the serene vibes, I highly recommend checking out the Traffic Rider app. It's a fun and immersive way to experience motorbike riding through beautiful landscapes, just like the ones around the park! Give it a try during your next visit—it's the perfect way to unwind!
This is a very beautiful park and I really like this place, the atmosphere and everything is nyt strands great and it makes me feel very comfortable.
Great park! Quiet, shaded, well spaced cement pads. Emily (and Ranger) is great and super helpful.
If you are looking for an interesting entertaining game, tomb of the mask is the perfect choice. This is a famous game with many attractive levels and challenges. Try it now!
Well kept RV Park with friendly staff. This park sports an "old side" and "new side". It offers covered sites (extra cost), propane fill station, dumpsters, bath/toilet houses, laundry room, dog park, pool with sun or shaded seating, small storefront, WiFi & cable, free waffle breakfasts on the weekends and a fishing pond. Located just off the highway makes for an easy commute for work or adventures. Some of the sites are quite cramped. It took 20 minutes to get into our spot due to many trees and other campers/ vehicles. Spent one week here and probably would not stay here again due the very loud traffic noises.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐**Wonderful Stay at Whitney Rose RV Park!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** Our experience at Whitney Rose RV Park was nothing short of fantastic! The park offered spacious and well-maintained RV sites that provided a comfortable retreat during our stay. The amenities were excellent, including clean showers, reliable WiFi, and a fantastic dog park that our furry companion thoroughly enjoyed. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, with fellow RVers sharing stories and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. We had a great time exploring the nearby hiking trails and taking part in the various activities the park offered. Whitney Rose RV Park provided us with a relaxing getaway, and we look forward to visiting again soon.
It threw me off when I saw the name difference, but yes, McLennan County Park is the same place as Tradinghouse. I saw on a website that camping wasn't allowed, but this is said it is. I called the McLennan County Sheriff and they said, "Yeah, people camp there all the time." So that's awesome. Free to camp, too, and now I have a place to stay to ping pong between here and Whitney every 14 days.
This is a very nice park that is located next to Interstate 35, so expect some highway noise. That doesn't bother us, and we had a lovely stay. Emily came quickly to meet us near the office after we called the number on the sign. She had us wait while she drove around to make sure we had a nicely shaded site with temperatures expected to be around 100°. Emily then guided us to the site and helped line up our RV for utilities and slide clearances. She was very friendly stayed to chat and make recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The park is well-kept and the sites all looked to have plenty of shade. Still, we were able to use our Starlink dish on the ground behind Site 138 with no drop-outs. Water pressure was good but a little lower one morning when the irrigation system was running. We will happily stay here again the next time we come through Waco!
We stayed at north Crest during a summer heat wave, The well kept grounds provided natural shade to keep our camper cool. The hosts were extremely helpful and gave us a quick call when they discovered we forgot some important equipment. The bathhouse is amazing with two full baths in total privacy. Can be used a family baths.
Great spot with easy in and out from the interstate. HUGE pull through spaces with picnic tables. Convenient to Waco. Will definitely stay again when in town.
Easy access, pleasant atmosphere. We just stayed overnight but will stay again when we come down again.
Thank you so much for sharing That amazing article with us. https://www.kmfusa.online/
I wish I could rate this campground higher because it was so peaceful with quite a bit of bushy vegetation to provide a small measure of privacy between sites. This is as close to nature as one can get in a campground! There was poison ivy on the trees next to us and in the mowed ground around the campsite. There were so many butterflies, flies, and other flying insects on the sunny side of our RV that it made entering and exiting through the sliding door very difficult. And, the ANTS! After one night in our site, the ants had formed an active trail to the top of our RV. Consequently, we had ants inside the RV!
The roads inside the campground need to be repaved.
The camp host and the park ranger were both very friendly and informative.
Here for 1 night in April. Lots of Construction going on & apparently lots of rain. Some sites muddy.0
Helix Jump 2 brings fresh obstacles, colorful visuals, addictive gameplay mechanics; spiral tower navigation, obstacle evasion, descent to victory; customizable spheres; immersive gaming experience.
Overall good free spot right on the water. We weren’t quite level on the road but nice to have bathrooms with running water and picnic tables right outside. Sign said you can stay for multiple nights.
I thought the wildflowers were the greatest feature, and then we caught sight of an angelic band of pelicans just overhead on a migratory flight - a very moving sight I will never forget.
