    Amazing RV Resort

Royal Palms RV Resort is truly a hidden gem! From the moment you arrive, you can feel the sense of community and care that sets this park apart. The all-concrete roads and spacious pads make parking a breeze, and the beautifully maintained grounds create a peaceful, resort-like atmosphere. The amenities are top-notch - the resort-style pool is perfect for relaxing on warm days, the fitness center and game room offer great options for staying active, and the private bathrooms and laundry facilities are always clean and convenient. Plus, the ponds for catch-and-release fishing and acres of land to explore make it a perfect spot for nature lovers. The gated entry, friendly neighbors, and regular events like pool parties, bingo nights, and holiday gatherings really make it feel like home. Awesome campground!

Love this state park! Sites are nice and wide and level. Beachside has recently (past few years) been redone and they did a fantastic job! You are within easy walking distance to the beach and while Galveston beaches may not be the best in the world, it is hard to have a bad day on the beach. Just sayin’

Absolutely breathtaking! Parked parallel to the dunes off the packed down sand! We’re a good distance from all the houses to avoid any potential issues. No permits required and the signs upon entering the beach make no mention.

    Summer Breeze

    Multi week

We spent 17 nights in this campground. The campground was well maintained and quiet. I will say the water park area was not open for the season yet. The staff was friendly and attentive. I needed to extend my stay and it was no problem. There is grocery store nearby in Brookshire.

    Mid week camping

The pull through site was nice with plenty of shade. The site are far enough apart so you don’t feel you are in top of your neighbors. There was a fire ban at the time of our visit so we weren’t able to enjoy the fire pit. The near by visitor center was interesting.

Close to Galveston but still quiet

Month long stay, $730, water, 50 amp. End of October/beginning of November the park is booked out as well as during warmer months. Half of the facilities washers and dryers didn't work. Staff is great about communicating lawn days and other news for long term guests. Trash valet and 2 free parking spots. 2 dogs parks, one for large and another for smaller dogs.

Hidden Gem in the Texas Swamp

We stayed at spot 128 in the Burr Oak. It was very easy to back into, the site is super wide and full asphalt. Site was very level. Bathrooms were somewhat close, about 4 or 5 sites down with a shortcut through the woods. Not a lot of street lights throughout the campground made things nice and quiet at night. The site had good Verizon cell service, around 25-50 mbps. The Tmobile service was around the same. This place is very remote and the park itself is huge, we only stayed one night but it has a ton to offer! Overall the campground was clean, very quiet, with a ton of activities.

What a gem of a spot! With sprawling camping areas perfect for tents and RVs, it’s a peaceful retreat—most of the time! Just remember that it’s right next to a dirt bike track, so expect some revving excitement during the day. The bathroom situation? Well, let’s say the trusty portapotty does the job! My only little gripe? A papa's games louie dumpster would be a fantastic addition to our trashy treasures! Happy camping!

    Thousand Trails Lake Conroe

Great location with access to Lake Conroe, Nice Sites, we had a great time!

We went to watch the Eclipse in October, it was great weather, no clouds.  We had a great time.  Our RV site was roomy and there were a few sites surrounding us that were not occupied, which allowed us to spread out, kicking soccer balls and throwing footballs.  The kids loved it.  The boat launch is nice, we didn't have any watercrafts but will maybe try to bring a kayak or canoe next time we visit.

The location is not far from The Woodlands and Houston, and other attractions.  But still in a quiet area.

    wonderful

We stayed here for almost five weeks, and we had a wonderful time! A wonderful team and a multitude of wonderful amenities! There is not a lot of traffic or noise because there are a lot of full-time residents and friendly neighbors. The park was spotless, and it featured wide roads, concrete pads that were level, with complete connections. Pet-friendly; our two canine companions absolutely adored the dog wash station. Recommendation heartily! contexto
