Shiloh RV Park

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Pull-through sites, full hookups, and a location set back from the main roads make Shiloh RV Park a functional overnight stop or short-term base in Richmond, Texas. The park is small and older, which shows in the narrower site widths, but reviewers consistently note that rigs up to 65 feet can manage without issue. Shade is good across the property. Amenities include electric, water, and sewer hookups at every site, plus showers, a dump station, and WiFi.

The crowd here skews toward long-term residents rather than weekend campers, with most spots occupied by full-timers and older rigs. A handful of sites are available for stopover guests. Dogs are welcome, though there is no dedicated off-leash area despite a noticeable number of pets on the property. One quirk worth knowing: a pair of donkeys lives on-site and reportedly accepts carrot and apple offerings. Bill L. describes the atmosphere as "a quiet atmosphere," and the park's setback from nearby roads supports that. A swimming beach adds a water-access option that distinguishes the property from similarly priced parks in the area.

Restaurants and basic services are close by. Campers researching campsites near Richmond will find the broader area has several RV-focused options at comparable price points. USA RV Park sits a few miles northeast for those who want a newer facility, while River City RV Park is a close alternative just to the west.

Many campers appreciated the friendly staff and shaded sites with full hookups. Several reviews noted the older park has narrower spaces, but the good pricing and quiet atmosphere make it suitable for short stays.

Basic stop over park

Mostly full timers. Older rv’s. They have a couple spots for stop overs. The people are really nice and friendly. Lots and lots of dogs but there is no off leash area for them. There is also a mommy and her teenager donkeys who like carrots and apples.

Nice clean and quite

This park is tucked away from the main highway and roads but is close enough to restaurants and other amenities. Folks are friendly and it is a quiet atmosphere. All the spots are pull throughs. This looks to be an older park so the widths are a bit smaller but manageable but the price makes up for any misgivings.

Small little campground

This campground is small, however it is very well shaded and has a great swimming beach. Sites are full hookup! Staff super friendly!
