spot

What a gem of a spot! With sprawling camping areas perfect for tents and RVs, it’s a peaceful retreat—most of the time! Just remember that it’s right next to a dirt bike track, so expect some revving excitement during the day. The bathroom situation? Well, let’s say the trusty portapotty does the job! My only little gripe? A papa's games louie dumpster would be a fantastic addition to our trashy treasures! Happy camping!

Simple, Rustic & Cheap

There are many RV Parks near lake Conroe. If you don’t need a septic hookup, this one has the best price. Just a site to camp. Nothing fancy. Still under construction but exactly what we needed.

Thanks for staying with us and the kind words! We will have the new entrance and all sites powered up soon! Septic is up to the city so we aren't holding our breath...

If they had their dump station installed, they would have received 5 stars!

Very nice, secluded spot, located among very tall trees, which give off excellent shade.  Actually very easy to find, and even easier to maneuver through.  This is not your typical RV resort, meaning it is not a concrete jungle, and every amenity known to man.  Besides, your camping (glamping), right?

You can buy a really nice bundle of firewood, and they supply the fire ring. You have a picnic bench right outside your RV too.  As I stated before, I would have easily given Buck Acres 5 stars if they only had a dump station!  It's coming!  There is a trash receptacle on site.

In closing, if you're looking for a nice, clean, and quiet spot to pitch a tent of park your RV, I highly recommend Buck Acres!!

A great stay!

We visited not too long ago back in January, and we had a fantastic visit! The campground was almost completely open, which we didn’t mind if it hadn’t been, but it was great! The people who helped us to our campsite were very nice, and the service over the phone was also very prompt and helpful. We will definitely be back again sometime!

Nice quiet place

Owner, Gene, is a very nice guy. I think this is a work in progress, still improving the sites. Campground was quiet with nice big trees. It felt pretty peaceful while we were there and I much prefer it to an RV parking lot! One portapotty only, which was clean. We have an RV, so not really necessary, but no dump station that I was aware of. The wifi was spotty. I would go here again.

Very nice

Large camping areas for tents and RVs. There aren't many sites, so it's generally quiet, though it's right next to a dirt bike track, so it can get noisy during the day. The only bathroom available was a portapotty, which was adequate basket random. My only real complaint was that there was no dumpster for trash or anything else.

It's our RV Park.

We love it here. 100' hardwood shade, breezes, dirt bikes in the distance. 8 minutes to Wal-Mart or a giant lake but feels out in the woods and secluded... Gene and Raven are great hosts and bend over backwards for y'all! 😁 Support them and our little park when you buy a bundle of firewood. Shade, electric, water, good Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, (wifi coming soon) We've done everything to keep prices as low as possible because we're nomads too and everything adds up! All proceeds go right back into the park, we're working on tables this month! 😁 Come check out our idea of the perfect RV park, before we get it finished! And then come back and see what we've done!

Super affordable!

For the price, this place was amazing. Super large campsites for both tents and RVs. Not very many sites so in general it’s fairly quiet though it’s right next to a dirt bike track so it can get loud during the day. The only bathroom facilities available are a portapotty, which was fine. My only real issue was that there’s no dumpster for trash or anything. The “load in, load out” method of trash is a real hassle to deal with. Other than that it was super nice!

Shade and friendly site hosts!

This is a great spot to camp so close to the lake without all the hustle and bustle of other campgrounds in the area. Just a few nicely treed acres a half mile from town, perfect home base to explore the area. A large, clean, porta-potty and the nice cool well water make it worth the money.
