  One of the best

  We stayed here multiple times and it is alway a good one. We love the clean bathhouses and the arcade upstairs. It's level and easy to walk around in.. Great pool, hot tub and splash pad. Great location.

  Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg KOA Campground

  Glamping in Pigeon Forge

  This is not exactly the camping in the woods without hookups atmosphere. This is more of a every want/need met glamping RV Resort. And it’s awesome!

  The RV sites are large and level, full hookup. There are gorgeous cabins that look more like tiny homes, and the atmosphere at this park is a great way to retreat. 100 ft max for RVs.

  Very kid friendly, pet friendly (Kamp K9), lots in the area to go do and see. Pools, hot tub, kitchen, firewood for sale, fishing access, snack bar, cable tv, and WiFi.

  The staff here is awesome, very helpful and knowledgeable. The park is very clean and well kept.

  Cellular service for TMobile was not very strong but AT&T provided plenty for streaming and working.

  Nice place, friendly staff drives you to you site some site are very tight newer sites and pull through are great. Awesome lazy river and hot tub. Very close to downtown and 2 or so miles to Dollywood I will stay again

  Smoky Bear Campground

  Peaceful!!!

  The staff was very helpful. The campgrounds are gorgeous. The pool &hot tub weren't open yet but is is cold up here. Love the mountains they were calling!!! The campground is full on their first weekend open so book in advance!

  Little Arrow Outdoor Resort

  Wonderful experience!

  We came with friends for Fall Break and shared a buddy site, it was wonderful! Fun activities (we did BINGO & Trivia), hiking, a very nice pool & hot tub with splash pad and walk-in pool entry. The shower houses & restrooms were immaculate! So clean! We were sad to see they were already booked for next fall break - if you’re considering, book well in advance!

  Riveredge RV Park

  Campground needs more employees enforcing rules

  We have stayed at this campground , at least once a year, for the last 15 years. This visit has not been great. Kids are running around with NO supervision, watched a little girl almost get hit by a car , twice . Went to the pool, again kids running around , no adult supervision. Several couples in the hot tub, openly drinking alcohol , not watching there kids . Other guests not being considerate of quiet hours. Loud music at 1:00 a.m. This campground has changed in the last year. Would not recommend if you like a more quiet experience!

  Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg KOA Campground

  Lots of Amenities

  We arrived super late, but our checkin info was ready for us along with a map to our site. The campground had a ton of amenities, so good if you have kids. There was a pool/hot tub/lazy river, playground, trampoline, corn hole, and more. Bathrooms were clean, we didn’t shower there. There was even a dog wash! The spots were a little tight and our sewer connection was a foot up off the ground so drainage at site 122 was a bit of an issue. Foliage was very pretty and at its peak the first week of November! Close to gatlinburg and pigeon forge

  Fort Wilderness RV Park

  Convient for Scarowinds but pricey

  Sites are a little tight in back area, they do have cabin rentals. they have nice game room and store .the have discounted tickets to Carowinds, corn hole, shuffle board, shuttles to park.

  Camping prices are high. $65 for a Friday night and $80.00 for a Staurday in October.

  Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg KOA Campground

  KOA - Pigeon Forge, TN

  Similar to most KOAs we've stayed at, and this one does have a real "lazy river" along side - but is otherwise not the greatest place we've stayed in the area. We have a pop up, and it's difficult to level them in your site. The bathrooms are touch and go. They do clean them well, but it's the overly-careless campers here that are to blame. No one seems to care. Tent camping would be way to uncomfortable in these sites in my opinion. Large, enclosed RVs are the way to go, because even a pop up is a little loud. There's a pool and hot tub, and playground. Overall, good location but not great.

  Sun Outdoors Sevierville Pigeon Forge

  Great RV Park

  This is an extremely well maintained and clean park. Lots of amenities; 2 pools, lazy river, hot tub, arcade, picnic pavilion, large playground for kids and even an RV/Bus wash. Standard sites are mostly level with gravel parking and concrete pad for picnic table. Deluxe sites are fully concrete covered. The only drawback I noticed was what appears to be several permanent sites, but they were well kept. Prices are in line with others in the area and with amenities offered, a pretty good bargain. The park is outside the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge and was close enough to not be an issue. We will definitely add this to our list of favorites for future reference.

  Twin Creek RV Resort

  Best for my Time

  Steve and Chris was there when we checked in. Steve helped my 80 year old husband unloaded our car and unhook the dolly. Chris told me about the park and what was available there and best places to eat. Steve showed me my RV spot and helped me park and level our RV. The bathrooms/ showers are neat and clean and have a security code to enter to use. The RV park is easy to find and is well kept and clean. Trash is picked up at each spot daily. There is a doggy park, swimming pool and hot tub. Denise and Barb also work there too and very nice. When we got to leave they helped us to hook up. We will be back because we really enjoyed it.

  The Ridge Outdoor Resort

  One of the best

  Have to say this is by far the best campground I have currently been to. Such amazing sites with stamped concrete pads, some with gas fire pits, full hookups, great landscape with golf course quality grass, peaceful and respectful neighbors. Some of the amenities include a zero entry pool, hot tub, dog park, golf simulator, fitness room, event center, kids room, covered basketball court, golf cart rentals. With many more amenities to come; they are in the middle of a 3 phase opening. This place has only been open about 1 year so its still kind of a hidden gem. The building was previously a church and I believe they still do services on Sundays. There is a coffee shop and froyo right across the road from the resort. There are also tiny homes and glamping tents available to rent. I do try to come up with some kind of negative observations every review all I can come up with is your dog must go to designated areas to use the bathroom. You cannot just let them go at your site. Understandable though because the grass is well kept. Also to prevent the spread of invasive species, you must purchase firewood from the camp store. Not even heat treated firewood is allowed. These are the only quirks I could find. I'll be coming back here every chance I get.

  Disappointing

  Camp sites were very small and situated on top of each other. Most campers are residents. Cabin camping also very close. Attendant gave us wrong directions to our site and we ended up on a very narrow dead end road.

  Little Arrow Outdoor Resort

  Awesome Location right outside the park

  We are traveling in our 33 ft travel trailer. We work full time remotely and use our hotspot to do so. The Verizon service in the rv section of the campground is very poor and we were not able to use the hotspot. The service is better higher up in the campground. The campground does offer wifi (paid) that was fast enough for me to work and do video calls. They kindly offered us vouchers for a couple of days as well.

  The campground is super cute. The pool and hot tub area is gorgeous. They have a coffee lounge with communal board games which is cute. The bathrooms and laundry room are clean and very nice. Our dog also loved their dog park.

  Their check in system was perfect for our late check in.

  We visited in the winter and it was cold enough that they had us turn our water off every night at 6 which was inconvenient but not a real problem considering how nice the showers are.

  We stayed in spot A1 which felt a little small because it butts right up to a yurt, but it was enough space for us. Especially considering how cold it was, we didn’t spend much time on the patio.

  Adventure Bound Campground Gatlinburg

  Family fun

   This campground is in Gatlinburg, but is almost all the way to Cosby. The campground has RV sites, tent sites, cabin rentals, and rv rentals as well. There are several riverfront sites. The campground is large and has several amenities, such as a game room, pool, alpine water slide, fishing pond, and playground. This is a great campground for kids, but is also very quiet at night, even when the campground is full. There is a camp store, that sells camping essentials and souvenirs, and ice cream. There was a shaved ice truck there on the weekend also. We stayed in site 213, which is a riverfront site, however there were campers on the other side of the river. I would recommend staying in one of the riverfront sites on the other side of the park, they would be a little more private. My brother and family stayed in one of the rental campers, and it was nice, however not very clean, despite being charged a cleaning fee. The campground is near the Greenbriar area of the Smokies, and there’s great hiking and fishing nearby. Overall a great spot.

  Deep Creek Tube Center & Campground

  Ranger Review of Palmilla Notched Tank from Toad & Co at Deep Creek Campground

  Campground review: Located in Bryson City, N.C. on Deep Creek, this campground has around 50 sites with full hookups. There are tent sites, RV sites (some directly on the creek) and also cabin rentals. The office is a gift shop with souvenirs, basic camping needs and hand -scooped ice cream. There are tube rentals at the entrance as well as gem mining and a petting zoo with goats. There are 2 coin-operated laundry facilities at the campground that are very affordable. You can put in your tube at one side of campground and float to end of tent sites to get out (15-20 minutes total float) or drive up the road a bit to Smoky Mountain Deep Creek entrance for a longer run of about 2-3 hours and end up back in camp. Our first time experience here was a little tainted by some grouchy staff and no wi-fi even though it was advertised. There were also multiple power outages during our week stay that were finally fixed. This would not keep us from coming back to the serenity of this creekside camping. There are many things to do in town as well. Train rides, antiques and lots of trendy shops and restuarants. This town is up and coming. Fontana Lake is nearby where you can fish, boat and swim. We met new friends who we plan to return with next summer. Product review: Palmilla Notched Tank from Toad & Co. is light and comfortable. I wore it on a hike into Deep Creek entrance of Great Smoky Mountain N. P. for several hours while we walked along the creek to see waterfalls. The fit is great and love the vibrant cedar orange color.

  Townsend-Great Smokies KOA

  Camping on the River

  This is one heck of a family getaway spot. The River is flowing behind the park, open to Tubers (Rental from the office), great outdoor playground and pool.

  The park offers guests bike rentals, tube rentals, outdoor movie nights, ice cream and fudge, and a convenient store in the main building. Firewood is available for a fee. They have a snack bar too. They have a Hay Ride that currently cannot be accommodated but hopefully will again soon (Covid).

  Many of the RV Sites have water views or are located on the water. They offer cabins for rental as well.

  This location had poor TMobile service but better AT&T. Streaming was limited during our stay.

  They do have cable tv, 50amp power, honey wagon service, and a dog park.

  Perfect Getaway!

  Glampknox is located in Knoxville, close to downtown and The Smoky Mountains. The area is rural and beautiful, and the views from the site are wonderful, and the location is very convenient!

  The property has a beautiful cabin that is also available to rent, as well as a wedding/event barn venue. There are horses on the property too. It is some of the most picturesque property you’ll find!

  The site has a really nice tent cabin, with a covered porch, rocking chairs, and a wood burning stove. The tent has two twin beds, and they were super comfy. It has battery powered lanterns inside for light.

  The site does have restrooms and an outdoor shower, both of which are just a short walk down to the barn. There is a large fire pit in front of the tent, and plenty of space for extra tents and great trees for hammocks. There is also a hiking trail around the property. The host also had firewood stacked for us at the tent.

  Highly recommend GlampKnox for the perfect getaway!

  Cumberland Mountain State Park Campground

  Great camping, lots to do!

  Cumberland Mountain state park was a great place to visit. Located in. Crossville, not too far from I40, and really close to town so if you need to get anything, it’s an easy trip. The park was larger than I expected. I brought my bike and I was glad, as it made exploring the park easier. There’s several playground throughout, plus the lake has kayak, paddle boat, canoe, and paddle board rentals, so there’s a lot to do! There’s also a small aviary, and most of the birds were visible when I stopped by. My site was in loop 3, #86, and it was perfect! Plenty of space, and we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. We had water and electric, but no sewer hookups. I noticed the sites in loop 1 had sewer hookups, but loop 3 did not. They have really nice looking cabins for rent also. The section for cabins is near the lake. They had multiple sizes too. The campground was full, but surprisingly quiet, except for the cicadas at night! Very peaceful. We really enjoyed our time at Cumberland mountain, and will definitely return!

  Adventures Unlimited Campground

  Campground has cool restaurant & bar

  The campground offers cabins and the cabin was pretty nice. It slept ten people. However, there is only one bathroom in the cabin. The toilet wasn’t working well. Aside from that the cabin was nice and fully stocked. It had a front porch with rocking chairs and a swing. It also came with a grill and fire ring. We had a group there for the white water rafting. We could walk down from the cabin to check-in for white water rafting excursion. There is a campground store at the check-in, as well. Then, there is also a super cool bar & grill in the campground. The Bus Bar offered live music on the weekends which was a ton of fun. We could walk back to the cabin after a few drinks. They also offer tent camping and RV hookups. The white water rafting trip was a blast.

  One of My Absolute Favorites!

  I highly recommend this glamping spot. It could not be more perfect. This spot is new, and the set up is awesome. Perched on top of a hill, the site has great sunrise views. The glamping tent is very high quality, with a covered porch, two comfy beds, and a wood burning stove, so camping is possible year round. a fire pit is out front of the tent too.

  The spot has great hammock trees, as well as spots for tents for extra room.

  The property has a one mile hiking trail. There are restrooms and an outdoor shower justba short walk, or drive down the hill. The is a cabin, and event venue on site also. 

  The area is close to The Great Smoky Mountains, and also Downtown Knoxville. A perfect spot for a nice glamping getaway.

  Simple Life Mountain Retreat & Campground

  Clean, quiet, easy access to the area's things to do

  I stayed this past weekend in the Butterfly Patch cabin. The cabin was spotless and comfortable  The picnic table, fire pit and park style grill were all well maintained. Owners were friendly and responsive. We were up the hill (steep one) from the bathroom facilities. I'd stay here again.

  Cabins themselves are relatively nice - very rustic so don’t expect anything fancy. Mattresses in bunk beds are very thin plastic pads. No sheets/towels provided so bring your own everything. The location of the campground is quite nice - 5-10 mins drive to Bryson City. 5-10 min drive to tubing. However, the campsite itself looks like a trailer park. Everything is VERY close together - expect to be 15 ft from your neighbors sitting on their porch. Only view from the cabin is the pool and other cabins, trailers, houses all bunched together. Also - the “theme” of the campground is Jesus. Bathrooms were clean.

  Elkmont Campground — Great Smoky Mountains National Park

  Best Smokey Mtn Experience

  This place is awesome!!! We stayed 3 nights so we could hike the surrounding trails! Loved learning about the history of the area while checking out the old cabins. The park ranger were helpful and even told me about the Avent cabin that is a little off trail. Hiked around 30 miles and got to see my first bear in the wild!
