Great campground

This campground has everything you need and then some. There's a playground, pool, mini-golf, basketball and volleyball. There's also a creek that goes thru the tenting area. There are at least 10 cabins and the sites are very nice. Great family campground!

Fantastic campground in the heart of the Black Hills!

We really enjoyed our stay over Memorial Day weekend (2021).

What we liked:

  • Great setting with generous campsites. Not over-crowded; butts up against open field/horse farm, with a really neat creek running through the grounds. Very relaxing atmosphere, especially in the area we stayed…
  • This picture pretty well describes the vibe! Very relaxing setting.

Hard to get to, But Great location

Very nice park tucked away on Iron Mountain. Big Rigs BEWARE do not take 16A!!! Luckily there are a few ways to get to the park, most are tight roads, but do-able. Super Close to Playhouse Rd entrance of Custer State park. On site they have a breakfast/coffee diner and nice store, the bathrooms…

  • Mt. Rushmore from the top of Iron Mountain Rd, 10 minutes from park.
