Got here in the dark, fairly unremarkable RV Park… But perfect for our needs! The hosts were friendly & accommodating, letting us pay in the morning at checkout.
This place is cool with many interesting things going on… I'd give it 5 stars if the pool was open but I kno it's not their fault!! Restrooms & showers were clean, everything seems well kept up! My pictures will show more details…
But that's about it! As far as the parking spot, it was ugly & uninspiring, lol. But they have a nice pool… And they were kind & offered us a ride by golf cart to the Sam's Town casino so we cud get some supper! We took the bus down to the strip (30 minute ride but we saw all kinds of people at 11:00 pm!) & watched the Bellagio Fountains, absolutely stunning!!
This place was ok, no showers or laundry due to Covid. But there were great bike & walking trails that would have taken us to the Rim of the Grand Canyon if we could have found it, lol. It was getting dark & we forgot a map… Which you would need! The Elk walking thru the Campground was awesome!!
We are not experts, by any means, this is our first road trip by RV, but this park was awesome. The showers were better than you'll find in most homes, lol & the pool was beautiful & spotless, tho u will need a reservation during Covid, you get a 35 minute slot, 10 people at a time. Which was nice, who likes a crowded pool?!! Our spot was easy to pull thru with a little shade, & the place is well kept & quiet! Laundry room was clean & fees were low…
The creek, waterfalls & rope swing over the swimming hole was unbelievable!! The kids enjoyed the rope swing while the mom enjoyed the walk back to the falls & thru the shallow waters… the Campground was good too, lol! The parking is a little tricky but we've found fellow campers to be helpful! (P.S. Found out on check - out that the rope swing does not belong to the High Sierra Campground, swing at your own risk, lol!)
Perfect place to stop! Lots to see & do with the Casa de Fruta fruit stand, Wine & Deli stand, Burrito & Taco stand… Peacocks running around add a whole new dimension, lol! The asphalt Campground was great for the kids biking… The camp sites are close together, btw.
Everything was great, nothing fancy but lots of convenience! Showers, laundry, great gift shop & bakery with yummy cinnamon rolls! Didn't stay long but it was our first experience with a campground on our road trip & we were satisfied:)
The number listed is for a campground in Lebanon, MO…. The correct one is 408-842-9316!
Nothing fancy but the Campground took care of us just fine! We were happy to find a last minute place to stay on the water of the Crescent Harbor. Hot showers & cheaper laundry fees were a great bonus:)
This is the first KOA we've stayed at & we were totally satisfied! The campgrounds were nice & neat & people were friendly. We booked last minute & we're very relieved to find an empty spot! Very thankful for the laundry room… My daughter & I had fun picking blackberries on the nature trail down to the beach area!! Just a short walk to a bridge spanning the river/bay, just beautiful!!
We are so impressed! Wifi, showers, gorgeous flowers, beautiful view of the mountains, friendly neighbors, accommodating office staff- we got in late & found a note saying site 45 may still be available, settle up in the morning! What more could you want?! We would definitely stay again:)
