Friendly campsite

RV sites are terraced so plenty of space between them. We were disappointed there wasn’t a fire pit with our site but used a common area one. Showers and restrooms were large. The on-site shop was nice and had a full cafe for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were in the area in early August just before the Sturgis rally. A lot of bikers stopped here. This seemed to be a destination stop for rally goers.

Good location, lots of flies

There isn’t a lot around the Badlands so this location was very convenient. Full hookup was nice and the laundry and store were convenient. The pool was small and cloudy but needed as it is so hot. Sites were close but not overly crowded for RVs. Our biggest complaint were the flies. We haven’t experienced anything like it in all the campgrounds we have been too. Made us concerned about sanitation. It was so bad we couldn’t eat or sit outside in the evening. Needs to be treated.

Beautiful campsite

Well spaced and clean RV sites. RV sites located in a paved loop road that my kids loved cycling around. Short walk or bike ride to the lake which had a great beach, fishing pier, and picnic area. Pretty busy in the picnic area with family parties and people taking boats out of the water. Preferred to stay tucked away at RV site. The dump station was really busy in the morning to plan accordingly.

Quiet private campsites

Great spot for nature seekers. Great bike trails. Well spaced, quiet sites. Electric hookup for RV and easy dump station. Showers were what you can expect but good pressure and hot water. No where to swim in the lake.

Well kept campsite

Well maintained campground with fishing piers and a swimming beach. A lot of seasonal/permanent sites. Transit spots were a little tight but owners did what they could to space you out. Very accommodating.
