Wonderful Hideout in the Black Hills
This campground is pretty nice. The full hookup sites are pretty level and clean. They have WiFi in the campground but it’s very slow during peak times in the evening which is expected.
They have a trail which leads to a point where you can view Mount Rushmore. This hike is intermediate and takes about an hour or more.
The playground is great for the kids. They also have mini golf and basketball. The pool was closed due to COVID.
They have a cafe, coffee shop, and small marketplace to get essentials. At the time of this review the cafe is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
They have fuel on site as well.
Fire pits are only available in the interior of the campground. They have three community fire pits you can use, however.
We stayed at site #53 and is by far the best full hookup site in the campground. Lots of shade throughout the day.
