Welcome to Mountain Laurel Retreat, we are a private campsite at the base of the Goldmine mountain just 15 minutes away from Stony Valley home of the famous Boxcar Rocks. We are the perfect campsite for a relaxing nature weekend but also at the center of many attractions. We are 45 minutes away from the world famous Hershey Park, Chocolate World, Zoo America, and Antique Car Museum. Take a day trip the Yuengling Mansion about a half hour away. For the hiking enthusiasts, you can hike Stony Mountain, The High Rocks, Segriest Dam/Lebanon Reservoir, and the Appalachian Trail. If you are interested in some coal mining history you can do the Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine tour!

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. 

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Explore the wooded trails and enjoy plenty of space for outdoor games during the day. The sunset on a clear evening is amazing and the dark night sky is full of stars. 

Nearby visit Lake Tobias Wildlife Park for a thrilling safari tour or Green Horse Farm Animal Park and Petting Zoo.  If you like wine, there are 3 wineries within a 20-minute drive from the campsite.

Please respect this rule. We offer our own firewood from our land in the "extras" section for $25 for a huge crate that burns for many hours.

We own a large farm nestled against the mountainside, with a creek nearby to dip your toes in and relax. Sprawling views of the whole valley and wildlife spotting are at your fingertips!

This is just a short list of the awesome things to do in our area.

We ask that you do your part as well - maintain social distancing, clean up after yourselves, and leave no trace - so that everyone in our camping communities can enjoy these cherished outdoor spaces. 

To limit the potential impact of community spread during the Covid-19 pandemic, we are encouraging our campers and hosts to adopt self-check in procedures whenever possible. To make self check-in easy, Tentrr provides a map to your site and driving directions in an email sent out a few days before your reservation. Please refer to this guide to get to your campsite. As a reminder, it is good practice to give your host a head's up on your estimated arrival time a few days beforehand. If you need any assistance, you can reach out to your host through the contact information provided in your confirmation email.

Set back behind today's modern agricultural life and be transported to the past in this campsite among a field that was once a Native American Algonquian village in PA Dutch Country. Here in this circular field, you'll discover this untold story surrounded by a living forest filled with wildlife such as white-tailed deer, Appalachian cottontail, red fox, fishers, and raccoons. Follow the marked hiking paths to enjoy the local stream that wraps around the village where you can fish (with a PA Fishing License) for native pickerel & trout. Enjoy your catch (or S'MORES) over a campfire at night and learn about Algonquian legends & astronomy. 

This site is a great space for aspiring astronomers & campers looking to reconnect with a piece of unseen piece of history. Only a 5 minute drive from Sweet Arrow Lake Park.

You'll be able to relax and recharge in the beauty of nature sitting by a campfire and listening to the crickets and bullfrogs that serenade you each night or hiking around the property and encountering nature in all its splendid glory. You may even be lucky enough to have some white-tailed deer wandering near your glampsite. Across the pond, only a short walk away through a groomed trail, you will be able to use a beautiful pavilion, gazebo, and swing set that are here for our bed & breakfast guests and campers alike. 

There is local hiking and biking trails, kayaking, as well as wineries and breweries only a short drive away.

The Space:
A beautiful waterfront glamping site located 7 miles from Ricketts Glen State Park

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! 

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. 

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Parking: Parking is a short walk from the Tentrr site

What you should bring:
-S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat
-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling

Pets are allowed but must be leashed at all times. We provide a heavy duty leash anchor at the campsite.
Wash your dishes, pans, and utensils and return them to cupboard
Do not leave food out or try to feed and wild animals

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your confirmation email. Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). If you have any questions regarding modifications to your booking, please reach out to Tentrr Customer Support.

Other Things to Note:
Paper Milll Pines Glamping Site is remote and cell phone service may be difficult. We have Verizon and are able to get good service at the campsite, however you will not have service from any other service providers.

You are required to assure the safety of your children at all times.

We do allow catch and release fishing from the bank of the pond but you will need to bring your own poles and gear.

We will provide firewood and ask that you do not cut or carve into any trees or limbs.

Tentrr Signature Site - Paper Mill Pines Glamping Getaway

Make a boatload of family memories at this scenic campsite on the banks of the legendary Penns Creek! Bring your tubes or kayaks for a float down the creek! Oh and don't forget your fishing pole since Penns Creek is home to many bass! Or you can just relax beside the water. Campsite does not come with a tent but has a firepit, firewood, picnic tables, rustic outhouse and dock included. No electric available so bring a generator. You may park your camper at the site but there are no hookups.

We are nestled in the beautiful mountains of Hegins, Pennsylvania where you will be able to “Camp-A-While” and “Stay-A-While”. 

 We have 136 RV sites with water, sewer and electric and 28 tent sites each with barbeques. All our sites are equipped with a fire ring and a picnic table,&nbsp; We can offer that relaxing quiet weekend you are looking for, pull up a chair, grab a good book and listen to the running water of one of the many streams we have throughout the campground, or Cast your line into the stocked pond, (its catch and release so no fish dinners!).
 Want a little more excitement? We have on-site events every weekend of the season and are located near 25 major attractions. Grab the family for a fun game of volleyball, basketball or horseshoes, set your fitbit, leash your 4 legged best friend&nbsp; and take a walk on our beautiful nature trail!&nbsp; Take a Dip in the pool, its open daily 11-8, Memorial Day- Labor Day.&nbsp; Stop in the lodge and watch some tv, visit the game room for kids and adults alike, shop the camp store we carry&nbsp; everything from milk and eggs, fresh meat from the local butcher, Hershey’s Ice Cream, toys, camping equipment to RV parts.&nbsp; Our restrooms are open 24 hours.&nbsp; Come see your little slice of Heaven here in Hegins We look very forward to seeing you this season.

Camp A While

Lake Heron is a hidden paradise in Liverpool, Perry County, Pennsylvania consisting of 240 acres of woodland and a 10-acre lake. Families return year after year to enjoy camping, fishing, swimming, and hiking. The lake provides excellent fishing for Largemouth Bass, Channel Catfish, Yellow Perch, and Bluegills. Children especially enjoy the fishing.

Truly a RETREAT from the world, Lake Heron offers seclusion and privacy. Whether you are camping in a tent, an RV, or a cabin, you will have a peaceful vacation. The Mohawk Area and the Pavilion each have pit toilets. A "Comfort Station" is located in the RV area which contains two flush toilets and two coin operated showers. If you choose to just spend the day with a group of friends or have a family reunion, the pavilion is ideal for larger groups to have a picnic and enjoy the beautiful scenery. There is an abundance of the wildlife that lives in the 240 acres of woodland; everything from squirrels and deer to turkeys and bears!.

Dean and Gail Stephens purchased the 240 acre property in 1987. It is located 30 miles North of Harrisburg and just 2 miles off of US Route 11/15 at Liverpool, in Perry County, Pennsylvania. Over the years, they worked to improve the property, building a pavilion, docks, cabins, and RV sites. They have always welcomed families, churches, and other organizations to enjoy the property. Preserving the natural resources and wildlife habitat is very important to them and they appreciate when visitors share that goal: "Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints."
