    Awesome Place!!!

I really wish these guys had a franchise of RV parks, because they are awesome! The owners are just the coolest, very easy-going, so friendly, and they keep up on the place real nice. Prices are very reasonable for RVs, sewage water electric all available at most spots. Beautiful little area with lots of trees to keep you cool. I also love the place because they don't have a bunch of long term tenants, that can really be a bummer sometimes. The best halfway point if you're traveling a long ways on I-Five. I will definitely be coming again.

Seven Feathers Casino Resort Dry Camping

Nice, Free Casino Boondocking for RVs

Seven Feathers Casino, not too south of Roseburg Oregon, has two nice options for RVs near their casino. First is the "RV Resort" which has an indoor pool, very nice pull-through sports, etc. and will run you around $100/night.

Or, you can follow signs to the "dry" RV camping just on the east side of the casino. As far as free casino spots go, this is a pretty nice one. No construction, not too bad for highway noise all things considered. There's even a large green grassy area if you want to get out and stretch your legs.

It's for self-contained RVs only, so make sure you have water, bathrooms etc., though you can also eat dinner or what-have-you at the casino. Maximum of five days stay. Generators are prohibited 10pm-7am, which helps keep the noise down.

Valley of the Rogue State Park Campground

Great state campground in Southern Oregon

The great thing about this place is that it's great for both tent and rv. The rv campers will love the easy access and set up. The spots are spaced apart giving everyone as much room as you can have on an rv park.

I will say that you can hear the freeway traffic from the campground but it's not a show stopper for most people. Full hook ups and some pull through sites which are level and paved.

    Charming!

Small city owned park and campground beautifully run by long time, full time hosts! You can tell they take pride in their park. Very convenient just off of I-5. I can hear it slightly, but not at all offensive.
Good Verizon LTE service, full hook ups, long level pull-thru site. We felt we had enough “green space” in site 5. (Pretty lawn!) We will definitely use this rv park again!

    Well-Kept Stop Over

We were looking for a stop-over camp. This RV Park is well-kept and located conveniently near Interstate 5. It is great stop over for access to Crater Lake, Bend, or points north. All sites are paved and have full hook-ups. Is adjacent to EXPO fairgrounds.

If the weather is warm, there is not much shade.

Recommend a spot away from the freeway, but the noise did not bother us too much. Hiking path behind the park that connects several towns. Park also has a small fishing lake.

    I would definitely stay again.

    Twin Rivers Campground

Great location to the river and wine

This park has full hook ups, wifi and cable box. Most sites are under the canopy of large trees and shady. They have a bathroom/shower/laundry facility.

We love the proximity to some of Roseburgs best wineries. The river is great for kayaking, swimming or fishing. The State park is adjacent to the RV park and has a wonderful kids play area, volleyball, horseshoes and a boat ramp. Great area to walk around every morning. OSU also has their Master Garden adjacent to the park. It’s a great walk while admiring all the beautiful trees and flowers.

There is great hiking about 35 miles out of town (going toward Glide). You can hike into your choice of 12 different waterfalls.

Mark and Diane are the new owners They made sure we knew to call them if we needed anything or had any issues {no issues}.

    Fantastic RV Resort

Well kept RV resort. Level concrete pads, good wifi, nice pool. Not a rustic campground so may not be a good match for those wanting to roast a marshmallow. Recommended!

Popular State Park Near the Rogue River

Popular state park on the banks of the Rogue River in Southern Oregon. Numerous RV camp loops with cement pads. Full-Hook-ups available, though sites are close together. There are a few that are near the shoreline of the river. Tent camping also available on-site, though the whole campground is near I-5 in that the main entrance is through a rest area. That said, it’s a well loved and well used park with nice facilities. When we were there the camp host was hosting a cool junior ranger program complete with a tent of nature artifacts and activities for the kids.

Loon Lake Lodge and RV Resort

3.5/5 - not bad for a quick getaway

The website was not kidding about not following the directions through Google Maps. The last 9 miles to the resort was really trying - the roads were narrow, twisty and winding. If you are probe to car-sickness, go slow. I took extra precaution and dabbed essential oils on myself and my children.

Our pull-through site was in the Upper Marina, #22. If you have an extra canopy for camping, I'd suggest you bring it. It got really HOT when we were there. The good news is once the sun sets behind the trees, around 6pm, it makes eating dinner at the picnic table so comfortable and cooling.

My husband and children perused the bathroom/shower facilities which was just across from our campsite. He said it was spacious - a shower + private bathroom + sink setup and wide enough for a family.

Access to the swimming beach/boat launch is just a short 3 minutes walk. You just have to exercise caution because you will be crossing a main road (cars and big logging trucks rumble along often enough during the week).

The swimming (sandy) beach is cosy (read: tiny). There are no lifeguards on duty but enough trees offering shade for parents/families to sit back and keep watch.

You would have to drive back 5 minutes down the road to visit the Lodge for supplies or ice. The Lodge also provides some light refreshments* (deli sandwiches and ice-cream).

Our site offered full hook-ups including cable (limited channels). WIFI* was a disappointment though - we had to create an account for a complimentary hour of WIFI usage every day. Together with the zero cell reception, it renders us completely off the grid. It's great really to totally relax your mind and body but it is worrisome for that what-if's scenarios.

*Ice-cream was very pricey for the single not-generous scoop in a plastic cup that we bought for each of us. Because of the steep prices and WIFI availability (you have to pay if you want to get connected), I could only give a rating of 3.5/5 stars.

Otherwise, we had a great time at the RV resort. The sites are appealing for huge family reunion (we witnessed such a reunion during our trip). We will be back! 😊

We are a family of 4 (2 young boys with no pets). We traveled with a travel trailer.

    Better than Expected

We don't frequent casinos but needed a place to stop for a night. The RV Resort is actually far enough off the highway that you don't get much road noise. And if you really want quiet, you could request a spot between #71 to #174 - these are even further back are quiet.

The spacing between sites is comfortable with flowering shrubs throughout the area.

    Great staff

Great staff, office staff called to give me entry gate code because the office closes in an hour and the security gate closes at the same time. I arrived on time and staff quickly checked me in and host introduced themselves then guided us to our site. Thanked us multiple times for choosing their Campground. Clean restrooms and showers. A lot of long term or permanent RVs on site. River frontage sites afford the only views with in campground.

Best RV Park on the Rogue River

Looking for shade in the summer? Looking to camp on the river? Riverpark RV Resort is your answer. We have camped here 8 years before bing hired as camp hosts. We continue to live here at Riverpark and love helping our summer campers enjoy their stay in Grants Pass.

Believe me, the pictures on the website are really true and that is what the park looks like. 25 sites are right on the Rogue River. We are definitely the best park in Grants Pass.

    Lots to do!

Large park with tent spaces, rv hookups, and yurts! Oak grassland doesnt provide very many bushes to hide behind, so absolute privacy is hard to achieve when the park is busy. Sprawling and varried disc golf course with some spectacular long shots, and tight trees. Play structure for the little ones, boat ramp, waterfront sites on the renown North Umpqua river (great fishing and swimming), shower facilities (lots of bathrooms, some flushing, some pit toilets).

Great place to just get outdoors, without being too far from stores and humanity.

    We won’t return

It might be great for some but for us the spot was tight. There was a tree that was way too hard to manage around pulling in. The spots are close and not even. Seems to be a lot of long-term folks here. Big place with a pool (didn’t use) and a catch and release pond for the fisherpeoples. Probably no fault of theirs but upon hooking up water to my converter and then to my trailer I blew a hole in my trailer’s water system... unsure what happened. Had to go use the showers and bathrooms. Well the bathrooms are standard but the coin operated showers... nope! only 1 out of the 3 was working this night. So no showers for us because some lady had a pocket full of quarters and was enjoying her very long shower. Our spots was too tight to really maneuver our car to unhook and hook up the trailer. We won’t return to this place but for the experienced drivers who don’t mind tight spots it may be just fine. Has sewer, 30/50 power and of course water hookup

    Great State Park

We chose an RV hookup site for our 40' coach with tow vehicle. 30 amp power but based on forecasted cold weather they had turned off the water at the sites. Potable water was available at the dump station. Free warm showers and flush toilets. However, the bathrooms are old and appear dirty and grimy (rust stains, chipped paint, etc). Great walking and bath paths at the park and close enough to visit Crater Lake National Park. Large trees within the park though it doesn't provide much privacy with camp neighbors. In late October they had reduced the open loops but there was a good mix of tent and RV campers.

    Mediocre

Most of the people staying here are long term, when we stayed there was some drama between residents and it seems some shady people tend to frequent the area. Perks are laundry, showers and bathrooms on site. Not a great place if you’re looking to get out Into nature but Grants Pass has some fun seasonal events such as boatnik with fireworks, boat racing and carnival rides/food. Pretty river town but I’ve stayed at nicer places for the same price.

Local highlights include: All sports park, boatnik, car cruises, wildlife images.

Rate RV Park right on the river

About 1/3 of the campsites are adjacent to the Rogue river and all of the others have a view of the river. The Wi-Fi is acceptable, they have cable TV, full hook ups and well maintained property.

The other campers are mostly travelers and respectful. Nothing negative to experience.

Lots of Weird In and Out Traffic

This could be a really nice campground. It is a bit rundown and overgrown, though sites along the creek were nice. We drove in and did not need a reservation, but reservations are available 3 days in advance.

Non hookup sites are $15 and partial hookup sites are $25.

The host did not come around that we saw but they were working on their truck with seats torn out and a lot of stuff laying around their site covered in tarps.

There is both dry and hook up sites with electric and water but no sewer hookups. The dump station was locked and appeared not to have been used in a long time so unsure if it is available to use or not.

Driving through the campground we noticed that the hook up sites were really unlevel and narrow access from trees and low hanging branches. We were able to get site #13 (non hook up) with level enough spot for our 26ft rig. There were only a few other campers and those appeared to be fairly settled in long term.

Towards the evening there was a lot of in and out traffic and strange things going on. One guy parked his car near us then searched the woods for calling out for someone then left. Later there was a guy that pulled up in a truck with his headlights shining in the woods got out walked in the woods then got back in his truck and left. There were some campers that came in throughout the night and we hear lots of talking and lots of flashlights in the woods in all directions, then cars and trucks coming and going from that site as well. Needless to say it was an unrestful night and I won’t be back. I also read online about hauntings at the Inn down the street and missing people.

The toilets are wooden shacks with pit toilets. No showers. There is a disc golf but only saw a few cages. Garbage and water are available. Good cell reception.

EXTREMELY fancy and expensive RV Resort

EXTREMELY fancy and expensive RV-only park/resort affiliated with the Seven Feathers casino. RV spots only available. Nicely appointed drive-through spots on paved roads. Full hookups. Indoor clubhouse with workout area and indoor swimming pool, and obviously free shuttles to the casino. It’s as expensive as staying in a hotel. It is very nice, but it is not “camping.” It is a luxurious spot to park your RV and go to the casino.

    Wolf Creek Park

Quiet, convenient, great for a night or two!

It is located close to I-5, so it is easy to get to. There are some really nice sites by the creek. It is quiet, has beautiful scenery. There are some sites with full hook ups. There are only outhouses and no showers, so that's why it's good if you're only staying a night or two and are tent camping. We have camped here a couple of times and it hasn't disappointed.

    Crater Lake RV Park

    Great Gem

I stopped in here to camp while I checked out the surrounding area (Crater Lake, National Forest, Lava beds) It was way better then I first thought. Spots are nice and private. The hosts and owner are top notch. Full hook up. Easy spacious lots with enough vegetation between to provide a private feel.

To top it off they have a Saturday Campfire, with music, food and drink. Open to the camp. It's a great place to kick back and relax with some live music.

Definitely coming back to this place.
