Gravel lots and forested sites line the North Umpqua River corridor at this privately run campground in Idleyld Park, where the access road earns consistent warnings from reviewers about rough conditions. The property runs a wide range of accommodations, from full-hookup RV pads handling rigs up to 60 feet to glamping tents, cabins, a cottage, and a tiny home. Sites are gravel-leveled, and reviewers note a decent amount of foliage between most spots, which cuts down on the close-neighbor feel even when the campground fills up. That said, campfire smoke can drift between sites given how tightly some sections are arranged.
The owners draw repeated mention across reviews for hands-on helpfulness, including assisting guests with backing in. Cleanliness comes up frequently as well. The bathhouse has toilets, sinks, and showers, though Lee D. notes it is "clean but limited privacy for the toilets with just a curtain." WiFi is available for a per-device daily fee but has been reported as unreliable. A small store within walking distance stocks firewood, ice, food, propane, and fuel.
Recreation in the surrounding area is extensive. Guided whitewater rafting, waterfall hikes, fly fishing, mountain biking, and kayak rentals on Toketee Lake are all available through the property or nearby. A creek swimming hole is accessible on foot from the campground. Horseshoe Bend sits roughly a mile southwest for campers wanting a more dispersed forest setting. Reservations are recommended, and pets are welcome.
