On The River Golf & RV Resort

This family-owned RV resort accommodates rigs up to 50 feet with full hookups including sewer connections on level gravel sites. Located just off Highway 5 near Myrtle Creek, the property features both back-in and pull-through options alongside a six-hole par-3 golf course that owners maintain with fountains and flower beds.

River access defines the camping experience here, with sites along the water providing fire pits and direct views. "Miles of walking trails and a river for tubing or fishing off the docks" give campers multiple ways to engage with the South Umpqua River, according to Brose' Family V.. The property includes mature trees at most sites, with fall colors drawing particular notice from visitors.

Facilities include restrooms, showers, and a recreation room, though laundry services may be temporarily unavailable during construction periods. The campground operates cash-only for payments. Owners Steve and his wife receive consistent praise from guests for their helpfulness and hospitality.

For those preferring a different setting, River Bend RV Park sits a few miles northwest with its own approach to riverside camping.

Campers regularly cited the beautiful, well-maintained grounds with river access and friendly hosts as key highlights. The level gravel sites and peaceful atmosphere make it popular with families, though guests should bring cash as cards aren't accepted.

Lush campground in forested surroundings

Definitely try to get one of the back in sites along the river. Flat gravel sites with a beautiful view. We found this campground to be much exceeding of expectations! Loved the friendly hosts, lush forested surroundings, and peaceful atmosphere. Better than a KOA!

Beautiful campground by the river

A hidden gem. We were pleasantly surprised with how beautiful and peaceful this campground was when we stayed there with our three kids. Beautiful fall colors, and lush mature trees at every site. The grounds are kept beautifully and the sites along the river have gorgeous grassy fire pits. All sites are gravel and very level with plenty of room. Very friendly hosts as well! We’d highly recommend visiting this campground if you’re in the area or going to wildlife Safari.

Great gateway to the Coast

Great location off the 5 and 42 if you're looking to get to the coast. Also right outside the city of Roseburg. They have a 6 hole 3 par golf course. The course and grounds are kept with fountains and beautiful flowers. Lots of sites with full hookups including sewer. Back in and pull through sites available. Miles of walking trails and a river for tubing or fishing off the docks. Showers and bathrooms available. Women's restroom and laundry room are under construction until October 2023. No laundry room and the park is very dark at night when other RV's aren't around, are the only reasons I didn't give 5 stars. Otherwise the owners are a delight and the full time residents are friendly. Make sure you bring cash, they don't take cards. Which wasn't a big deal, they also gave us a discount for the week. This is a nice family run park and it will definitely go on our 'save for next summer' list.

Great spot off i5

Needed a place to sleep for the night. My slot was right on river facing the setting sun. Great spot to decompress after being in the truck for 8 hours. Steve is a cool guy.
