Rising River RV resort

Noise is a major bad for this campground. Also, staff communication is

very poor....locked out of clubhouse without notice and could not use for one night as promised. Fishing is good but very hard to access plus loud noise from road.

Do not go here for peace and quiet...doesn't exist!

Great staff..no Privacy

Great people, we pulled up they knew us by name and helped us get all settled in. This resort is to “packed in” for our tastes. No trees, shrubs or any other barriers to give you the “camping” feel. It appears they have many lived RV spots.

Beautiful!!!

Owners are very kind and welcoming. Helped us back into our site. Sites are large enough to park vehicle next to camper. Picnic area is on cement. Roads in good shape. Very clean and organized. River is right by campground and you can walk by it. Nice dog park. Would stay again.

Great staff

Great staff, office staff called to give me entry gate code because the office closes in an hour and the security gate closes at the same time. I arrived on time and staff quickly checked me in and host introduced themselves then guided us to our site. Thanked us multiple times for choosing their Campground. Clean restrooms and showers. A lot of long term or permanent RVs on site. River frontage sites afford the only views with in campground.

Cute RV Park near the river

Super friendly rv management and staff- could not have been more welcoming. There are 2 dog runs, laundry, showers and bathrooms on site. Small store in the management office for sundries and rv gear. There are some full timers who live in the park but seem to be isolated in 1 part of the park.

Gravel pad, no cement. 30 & 50 amp hookups along with water, sewer, cable and WiFi. WiFi drops often and can’t be used for streaming. No troubles with ATT cellular service.

Park is next to a mobile home park that may be sketchy, but the RV park is a gated community that needs a passcode from 6 pm to 8am daily. I felt perfectly safe within the park but there is no food or shopping within walking distance. Not far drive though is a grocery mart and plentiful restaurants. Roseburg itself has everything you could need within a 10-15 min drive from the park.

I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Note: spot 62 was close to Hwy 99 and you can here the traffic if your windows are open.

Welcoming and well maintained

5 stars as an RV campground (not tent camping).  Truth be told, we didn't use any of the amenities, so I can't comment on the laundry or showers.  Naomi was friendly, kind, and helpful while taking our last minute reservation for the next day.  She asked if we wanted pull-through or river - river of course!  She texted me the gate code in case we came late, and even though we added extra time, we just missed them.  We came right in, our check-in papers were on the bulletin board, and we went right to our spot.  It was easy to find, even in the dark. Everything is orderly and clean, well-maintained.  The campground was nearly full, but at 5:45 p.m. (it was dark), things were quiet and peaceful.  We plugged in, changed water, cooked dinner, and had a nice evening.  Next morning, we got up and walked the riverbank with our coffee.

The river is just beautiful, and there's a nice, long, grassy stretch that's good for walking, with benches and a lovely view.  I imagine in summer you could swim if you are comfortable with a strong current.

We then pulled right out and left on time without a hitch.  This is a great place to stop between California & Oregon/Washington.  It's just a couple minutes from I5, but far enough away that you can't hear or see the freeway.  We'll stay again.

Great Park, Very accommodating

After a long drive from Reno on Monday to Diamond Lake RV Park, only to find out upon arrival that they were evacuated 2 weeks prior and neglected to let us know. My brother in law called Rising river after hours (since we had no service) and left them a message they actually called back and accommodated us arriving about 8:30pm. We ended up staying an extra night to relax for the day.

The park is in great shape, sites even have some grass. They have a nice small grass dog run, a few trails that go down to the river and it’s peaceful down there.

Only downside is some road noise especially during traffic times but it wasn’t that big of deal. Would definitely stay here again.

Friendliest, Cleanest RV Park anywhere around!

Beautiful, quiet and family friendly RV park right on the S. Umpqua River, just minutes from Wildlife Safari!  Would absolutely recommend one of the river sites!  Staff is amazing, the park itself is pristine!  It's also safe with gates that automatically close at 6pm every night.

Great low-key, river spot

Quaint RV campground located right on the Umpqua River. Excellent spot to settle down for a few days and raft the lazy current. One piece of advice, there are some small leaches in the river to watch out for.
