Awesome place up in the mountains
Great spot. Clean bathrooms and fire pits. Very friendly camp host that has/had firewood available to guests. With a recommended donation box. Would def come back here again
When we got to check in our spot we booked weeks in advance we’re changed and was given a smaller spot. The bathrooms weren’t clean and all and the spot numbers were hard to find. Other than that it was still a pretty good one night stay for our group. The power and water hookups were close even…
The campground is very well kept and site are level enough. It is a bit far out and the sites are tight together.
We spent 2 weeks investigating the area. Campground was very nice and clean. Closer together than I prefer but normal for a Koa
Close enough to city but away from it.
A20 had some road noise next time I’d stay back on the lake
Plenty of room at every site. Arrived on a Sunday for a week long stay. Mid-week has been very quiet. Plenty to do, but not a commercial campground. Bank fishing in a small pond/lake. Lake beach area is nice. Game room was fun, but we felt pricey in this area ($1 for most games). Rec room has lots…

Stayed here for the first time in May and loved it so much we reserved another trip for July on the way home! This is the only place we’ve ever camped and it met all my expectations. If you are looking for touristy place with putt putt, water parks, and pools this isn’t the place for you. If you…

Called about reservations, they are no longer operating the campgrounds. Guide service only.
Camped at Wilderness Cove in August 2020 for 2 nights. Very clean, small, quiet campground. Tents only, they do have some cabins for rent. Nice clean bath house. Was able to access wifi near the tubing office. Prices are extremely reasonable. Their website is very accurate. I will be staying…
Stayed 7 days in #1 from 6/25 to 7/1 with two other RVers and was a romantic peaceful time with our own waterfall and creek running around us. Just a word on getting there- don’t follow the gps onto Kim Miller Rd. Stay on Rt 64 and turn onto 281 past firehouse. Much easier!
This is a small park off of 64. It's easy in and depending on which side of street your site is the exit it up a curved hill. We used 4 wheel drive with a 36 foot fifth wheel. It wasn't a problem. Our site was #11 on the creek. At our site the creek babbled which was great. We never saw any staff.…

It has free tent campsites and it is right next to Linville Gorge. This allows plenty of adventurous trails ranging in difficulty. But the best view is on top of Table Rock Mountain, which I highly recommend for sunrise and sunset. However, there is no electric or bathrooms.

We were only to snag one night here and loved it! We dispersed camp and didn’t use any amenities, but enjoyed out setup, nature and some wildlife! Driving through the Blue Ridge Mountains leaves me awe struck :)
The creekside sites were absolutely we're absolutely fantastic.. The kids enjoyed playing in the rapids and catching frogs.
The bathhouse was very primitive.
It was great being close to some beautiful waterfalls!
Nice Campground. Decent space between spots along the lake. Bathroom was clean and showers good. The sites good use some gravel. Great base to see Asheville and surrounding area.
