Glimmerglass in late September

Quiet campground near Cooperstown. Lots of little shops and entertainment. Clean. Friendly staff.

A perfect visit

The campground was active but not crowded. There is a variety of water sources with multiple camp sites abutting them. Each site is spacious and is tucked nicely into the woods giving optimal privacy. The sites do not have water or electricity but there’s a water tap nearby the sites. The sky is…

A pleasant place to camp!

What a fun place to stay! The sites are spaced apart nicely and well maintained. There is electric at most sites with water near the ends and there is a tent area with nothing. Also each site had large fire pits and picnic tables!! Large well maintained bathrooms are provided in the middle of each…

Easy camping experience

This camp site offered a fairly easy and laid back experience. The park ensures you’ll have what you need with stores within close proximity and the staff even offers ice and firewood delivery to your site. Our spot and most other spots were decently spacious and level, although fairly close to our…

Quiet campgrounds

Quiet campgrounds with multiple kinds of sites. We stayed in a hike in site, near the bathroom facilities, but out of view. It’s a steep, short hike uphill.

Nice Campground

The sites are roomy and semi-private which is nice. The pool is very cool, my kids really enjoyed it, but it was crowded and you are constantly dodging footballs & other balls that are constantly whizzing by your head. The pool is a little less crowded at night & lit up nicely.

Overall it…

Excellent birding

Stopped for one night on way from New England to Finger Lakes region. Fairly level pull-thru. Mix of large rock gravel, dirt, grass/weeds. Service side of rig faced a nice small grassy area with pretty trees. Awning side faced rather ugly weeds/shrubs and was close to neighbor. Bathouse ok. Plum…

Nice clean and quiet

We enjoyed our stay. Quiet campground. Bathrooms very clean. Pool was nice. Campground nice for younger families. Only downside was the road noise, our site was adjacent to the road and you could hear the loud noise of the tractor trailers all night. We camp in a pop up, I dont know if you would…

Surprisingly lovely

It was a last minute decision for us to come here and we were so glad we did. We had reservations about being side by side with other RVs but the site we were in was so big and being in a valley with huge trees all around a large open grassy area in the middle made everything feel vast. We loved…

I’ve always enjoyed staying here. Check in was super easy. The campground are on two sides of the main road. If you go down to the lower section they have a private beach for the campground. It’s located right on Lake George.

The restroom/shower facilities are always well kept. The one time I did…
