Nice sites

There are so many really nice sites at this campground. A lot of water sites that are very spacious with a beautiful view. The bathrooms were pretty awful though. The showers were broken and there was no hot water the entire 5 days we were there.

Expensive, busy, water access

Other reviews indicated thks was a small, rustic CG with lakeside sites. In fact, this place has over 200 sites (many of which are water front on Great Sacandaga Lake) and cost $28.25 for a Friday night. It is near population areas, so is very popular. Noise carries far, but they do patrol the grounds frequently. If you are looking for water, this is an ok place. If you are looking for quiet, remote, keep on looking.

Beautiful Campgrounds on the Edge of the Adirondacks

One of my favorite campgrounds. Great facilities, and friendly staff. MANY campsites with lakeside access, although do pay attention to the time of year as the water level can drop considerably over the summer. large swimming area and great fishing. Also two nice little stores just outside the gate as well as mini golf within walking distance.

Nice, shady, quiet, large sites

It’s clean, there are lake side sites available. Swimming, boating, kayaking all easy from their ramp and beach. We go for two weeks every year. Love it!

nice area for large campground sites and close to beach

Lots of nice amenities like showers, toilets, water fill stations, recycling stations, etc. Also full, power, and tent-only style sites make this a very versatile campground.

This place can hold a lot of people and rather than having everyone in the same shower or bathroom area, there are multiple buildings with these services so there isn't overcrowding.

Sites have a fire pit as well as a picnic table. You are allowed a maximum of 3 tents per site, and that's still plenty of room for car parking. Having a bike would be nice to not only cruise the grounds (which are large) but make going to the beach faster, as the furthest away camp sites are located about a half mile from beach access.

LOVE This Place!!!

Such a great tranquil place with great sites, and so much to do. Kids have floated in the channel all day. Lots of bike riding and walking. Couple nice general stores that are reasonably priced AND a miniature golf place right outside of the entrance.
