GuideOur 21 month old had the time of his life here! We stayed for 3 nights in June in a rustic cabin. There are no bathrooms in the cabin but there are public restrooms nearby. The resorts is decked out with 2 playgrounds, a splash park, kiddie pool, family pool and hot tub. They have activities on the weekends with Yogi the mascot such as wagon rides, dance parties, arts n crafts. It was a little expensive to stay here but was so worth it! Make sure you reserve a golf cart if you stay during the weekend- it's a must have to get from place to place and our little guy loved it!
LegendWe stayed at Happy Days from Friday to Monday with our 21 foot travel trailer. Site P6. Pretty level site. We liked this site and the one next to it the best out of all of the sites. George at the camp store was so helpful and we watched him actively keeping up on and taking care of the campground cleaning, etc. the entire time. Showers had great pressure and bathrooms were super clean. We showered after a Spartan Race Mud Run and they were great. Scenic spot, mature trees, we could hear foxes communicating at night. Firewood available at camp store $7 a bundle. No sewer on sites, but has a dump station. Water pressure at the site was very good. Old school playground for kids, volleyball court. The rec hall had a piano, pool table, ping pong table and more. Close to dining, Kauneonga Lake and Callicoon Farmers Market among others. We will be back!
ScoutMy first time to Oneida was amazing. The staff and people there were welcoming and accepting i felt the bond the community has there its something special and im hoping eventually i can get a parcel of land there i would like to be a seasonal there. Its a place where you can be yourself and express yourself without fear or worry of judgement by your peers. Ive never been some where that felt so inviting and peacefull. Im going to Oneida again it was an amazing experience. Thank you so much everyone who made my trip and visit there so special.
GuideStayed in the fairly new ledges loop that are all full hookup sites. Nice large sites, beautiful area, friendly rangers. Nice play area for kids, water craft rentals, nice lake. Plenty of picnic areas for day trips.

LegendThis is a relatively new location for primitive camping in the Pharsalia Woods State Forest. There is a parking area just off the Plymouth Reservoir Rd that allows you to access a network of trails that traverse the state preserve around the unique Round Pond and adjacent bog. Primitive camping is allowed anywhere in the vicinity as long as you are 150 feet from the waters edge and away from the parking lot. The parking lot has an info kiosk with a map of the trail network and info about the unique bog ecosystem. You need to sign in at the kiosk, but otherwise there are no permits needed and no fees. One amazing aspect at this site is a beautiful and accessible raised boardwalk to a unique overlook that has a beautiful vista over the bog and is an amazing place for birdwatching especially during spring migration. You can also access the bog pond here if using kayaks or canoes. It is like a unique wilderness location fir primitive camping, but only 15 minutes from the village of Norwich!

The campground is very crowded, and there's little space between campsites, which can make it feel cramped. On top of that, you’re charged per person instead of per campsite, which feels unreasonable given the conditions.
The restrooms are outdated and could use some maintenance. The staff wasn’t helpful and seemed uninformed, which added to the frustration. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this campground if you’re hoping for a peaceful, enjoyable camping experience.
