Awesome campground on Keen Lake

Not good

I try to not let the campers ruin a place for me, but I’d say 7 out of 10 sites near us were blasting music, yelling and screaming and just being pretty terrible humans. At one point during our stay staff did drive around and ask folks to lower the music, but as soon as they left it went right back…

From the North 55 mi. from Binghamton, NY - On 81 South, follow signs to Exit 187 (East 6 - Carbondale - Robert Casey Highway) - ( Do not take the exit for Business 6, which you will encounter earlier along Route 81) Follow East 6 for 18.2 miles to traffic light at the intersection of Routes 6 and 296 in Waymart. At this light you will notice both a Mobil and Shell gas station. Continue straight on Route 6 for 1.7 miles. Turn right onto Little Keen Road. At bottom of hill at stop sign, turn left on Keen Lake Road. From the South 145 mi. from Harrisburg - To 81N to Exit 187. Follow signs for East 6 - Carbondale (Robert Casey Highway) * 150 mi. from Philadelphia - On 1-476 (Northeast Extension of Pennsylvania Turnpike)to Turnpike Exit 115 (Wyoming Valley Exit) to 81 North to Exit 187. At this light you will notice both a Mobil and Shell gas station. Continue straight on Route 6 for 1.7 miles. Turn right onto Little Keen Road. At bottom of hill at stop sign, turn left on Keen Lake Road. ** From 84 West, take PA Exit 30 (Blooming Grove). Turn right onto 402. Travel for approximately 5 miles until 402 intersects with Route 6. Turn left onto 6 West and travel to Honesdale. Turn right onto Church Street (one way) at first light after small bridge. Take Church Street to the end. Turn left onto Park Street and go to the light. Go straight through light and continue on Rt 6W for 6 miles Bear left onto Keen Lake Road, about a 1/2 mile past Cavage's Farm Market, which is on the left. Or, we offer this alternative route which is 14 miles longer but provides 4 lane highway traffic and avoids the Honesdale/Hawley town traffic. *** Alternative Route from New York: 80 West to 380 North to Exit 187. Follow signs to Route 6 East Carbondale exit (Robert Casey Highway). Stay on Rt 6 East for 18.2 miles to traffic light at the intersection of Rt 6 East and Rt 296 in Waymart. As a landmark you will notice both a Joe's Quik Mart and a Shell gas station at this light. Continue straight on Rt 6 East for 1.7 miles. Turn right onto Little Keen Road. At bottom of hill, turn left on Keen Lake Road.
