Best Campgrounds near Logan, NM

Great spot passing through. Easy, convenient pull through sites. The spots are right next to each other with no trees or coverage, that's why it only giving 4 stars.

Paved roads leading to campground and extra long hard beaten gravel trails to campsites made this campground easy to pull our 30ft airstream into even after dark. Called ahead as we were arriving late and they said to just take any unreserved spot and pay at paystation or in morning. We parked in the yucca loop, spots 9-15 have 50 and water plus long 50' driveway. All spots in this loop have picnic tables, some have tree line. Area is pretty flat, decent lake, very quiet. Only a few other campers here (April). Vault bathrooms just opened for the season, byo toilet paper. Dump station near visitors center. Nice place to stay for a night between Amarillo & Santa Fe, not much of a detour.

We have always had very friendly service here. I can't really add anything things else.

High water pressure: do install a pressure reducer. I've seen firsthand people blowing out their water lines here.

Our att service worked fine.

Staff was nice. Sites are not level. Cable only offered a premium sites. Game room was half open. Bathrooms and showers were clean but no air... it wasn't working. Small pool. Just disappointed not a KOA expected.

Really a special spot, like nothing you've seen before in a camp site. All of the facilities were great and the art was spectacular!

A nice campground right off the highway.  We stayed on a new site toward the back of the campground.  Less highway noice.  Nice view of the mountain near Tucumcari and great grill.  They look to be working hard to improving this campground.  Saw people working diligently well into the late afternoon/evening on improvement projects.

   Really nice folks! Checked me in and then lead me to my site in his golf cart. Helpful info on where to find a grocery store etc. 

   Reasonably priced at $41.00, the site was level (gravel) and the wifi was really very good.I had 60 mb download speed and 20 MB upload without a booster.

    Grocery store is about a mile away and have a decent beer, wine and liquor selection. All the important stuff :)  There's also a hardware store and a tractor supply within about a mile.

    Close to the I-40 exit but not close enough for road noise. Very convenient!

Awesome experience, we stayed one night on our way through to California and the workers here were so nice and helpful! 10/10 recommend!!

If you are moving along RT 66/I-40, perfect place to hold up for the night. It is quiet and provides everything you need. If it is your first taste of camping in the West, if feels like what you would expect. Open scenery; beautiful night and morning skies. There might be a few full timers on the east end of the property, but they generally keep their areas well kept. There is a dog park if yours are friendly, mine are not. But there is an open grassy area at the front of the property. This campground worked well for us.

Currently getting ready to pack up my stuff and get on the road, but I cannot recommend this place enough. Kevin was so kind, helpful, and answered all of my many questions I had. Being a solo traveler, I am always on the lookout for a place I feel safe in and I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stopped just for the night and because we were coming in after hours the nice woman on the phone just said take any available spot and pay in the morning. It was close to the highway but because there were large buildings between the campground and highway it was quiet. Pull through sites made it oh so easy. Excellent place to stay!!

I have enjoyed my stay here. The owners are very nice and take care of the campground and the campers. The go out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of. Kevin will even pull you into your spot and help line your up. They have great bathrooms and wash facilities. The have 6 or so horse stalls and are currently upgrading the park.

As for the review below they are just a little misinformed and had bad timing. I have been staying here since April 2023 and on the early morning of May 26th 2023 around 3:30 am the city had a freak flash flood. Most of the park was under 2-6’ of water. My camper was under 6’ of water. That day the owners, myself and other campers were super busy cleaning up our campers, cars, and the office. Not the owners fault they were super busy and couldn’t call every person that had a reservation. At the time I’m writing this it’s still closed but they are working hard to redo and upgrade all the facilities to make it better.

I don't normally post negative reviews, however I feel like this one warrants a warning. Months ago, we made and pre-paid for a reservation at Blaze-In Saddle for the entire month of June. Today is May 26, and my husband called the campground to ask a question about receiving mail during our stay and their voicemail stated that they were not accepting reservations until July 1 because of flooding. He left a voicemail asking for a return call about existing reservations. I then discovered that Google has listed the business as temporarily closed, which tells me that this is likely NOT a decision they made recently- i.e. today. They've known for some period of time that they were not able to accommodate reservations. 

To their credit they did return the call very quickly, and refunded our money to our card. However, as full-timers, we are now faced with an entire month with no reservation, and five days to figure it out. To not contact your existing customers when you have decided to close your facility is extremely bad business. These owners may be very nice, but they have put us in a very bad position and I would never consider doing business with them again.

We paid $25 a night. We paid by slipping an envelope into the doors mail slot. We were the only campers besides the camp host whom we did not meet. Very small town with the midpoint of Route 66 being the main attraction. The water leaked so bad at multiple sites that your site would be flooded of you kept it on and attached to your rig. We just kept refilling our freshwater tank.

This campground is close to the highway and we paid 38 including tax. It is a little run down but everything works. They are all pull through sites and we were able to stay connected to the trailer-46’ long
