Space Station RV Park & Market

TJ greeted, and checked me in. Small, level park. I appreciate the secure solo restroom w shower. Good value. Easy walk to VFW for a good burger. Recommend.

Close to Death Valley and loved the Burros (wild donkey’s) that wander the town. Check jn was thorough and map was acurate.

We did ring the bell to change notes to coins in order to do laundry (which is a service offered at checkin) and no one responded or checked up on us - which was strange because the doorbell is a camera that records footage.

Docked at the spacestation for a rendezvous with the rhyolite ghost town. This park is good for a brief stop over or jumping off point to the gateway to Death Valley as well. This park has full hookups and a bathroom and showers, which could use a little TLC, but it got the job done. It's also on Highway 95, so traffic can be heard, but the local burros were friendly, and the moon was spectacular!🫏🌙

Just off of Highway 95. We got here about 6:45 pm and the park host, TJ, came to the office when I rang the doorbell. He checked us in, showed us our site and helped get us parked. The campground is clean and tidy. They have 30 amp electric, sewer, and town water. Just Everything we need after a long day on the road. We even saw a couple of wild burros.

I arrived early around 5 pm and the lot was almost empty but filled up as the night took over still very quiet, some mule deer in the area were having dirt baths

Super clean toilet! Has full hookups and also a petrol station nearby which is quite convenient. The laundromat is only for customers and it only accepts quarters (cheap). Check in time is from 12pm-8pm, we reached at 8 sharp straight from death valley, the staff was kind enough to guide us to our campsite and brief us although it was near the end of his shift. Would come back to stay another time and explore more if we have the chance again!! 10/10 recommend

Beatty, NV was about 20 degrees cooler than Death Valley. If you want to stay out of the valley while visiting this is a great place to do so.

Full hook ups, pull throughs, and easy to get to. Space Station RV was friendly and helpful. Despite being right next to the road it was fairly quiet. Showers and bathrooms show their age a bit, but the showers are free.

We would stay here again.

The park had everything we needed for our over night stay. Love the town and seeing the burros wander around freely

We were mapping our trip and Beatty won the draw for mileage. The Space Station win out. They were the cheapest. The host was very friendly and they were there until late. Many places are closed at 5 pm. We saw burros on the way into town and on the road. There are many places to visit here but we were just staying overnight so on we went. Adequate showers. The hookups had brand new electrical boxes. The site was gravel but level. They sell propane here also. Great overall site. Dog friendly. T-mobile and ATT were okay, the wifi helped.

Small, basic campground. Full hook ups. Cheap. $34 on a Friday night. Store but looks minimally stocked. Out of ice. Single person bath with shower. Laundry, did not use. Quick walk to store and several restaurants. Would stay again.

Very clean little rv park. Booked after reading an article about Beatty and it was time to see more of my state. Rhyolite ghost town, Beatty museum, Death Valley to name a few places there are super close by. Wild burros still through occasionally for an added surprise.

We enjoyed our stay here. TJ does a good job taking care of the place. Our site was a pull in (most welcome) and partially shaded by mature trees. Felt less like “parking lot” style camping. Used the laundry facility - $2.75 took care of washing and drying a medium size load. Pleased at the price as I was prepared to spend a lot more drying clothes. Right by the road so you do have road noise. Walking distance to the Happy Burro where we had a cold beer and chatted with some friendly locals. Burros visited campground both nights we were there. Walking distance to a small casino (you can get gas, ice, candy, ice cream, Subway). Convenient to Death Valley NP and the ghost town of Rhyolite.

The resort has what you need for an overnight stay.  The market is closed now but the WIFI is capable of streaming movies.  I took a shower and there was no hot water, but that brought back memories of my time living off base in Thailand in 1974.

If you like resort-like campgrounds, you will not be happy here. It was a good base camp for us to explore Death Valley National Park. The manager, TJ, does an amazing job of keeping everything well-maintained. The town is sketchy. JJ’s barbecue was excellent food. The visitor center was very helpful. There is a nearby Denny’s and Subway within the casino. Bathrooms were clean. Burros frequent the campground at night. Clean laundry facility, reasonable.

Pleasantly surprised by this park. The staff was wonderful & welcoming. We have a big 5th wheel & it accommodated us well as we were just traveling through.
