Beautiful. On the lake. Secluded in the forest. How is this place free?

They had just recently done overgrowth clearing for fire prevention and had only finished the large object cleanup. The ground in the campsite consisted mostly of burnt slash pile ash and branches that had yet to be cleared. Incredible views and right on the water
Nice place spacious spots. Our spot #40 had an incline we had to lower the front end of out trailer to its lowest point to get it level. Little road and train noise. No playground for kids. Though it had a great stream running next it kids were able to play in it could float down it also. Host was…

We had a great time. This park is not far from our home,so we have come here a handful of times. The park is clean, and well taken care of. We have a favorite spot. We hiked the Round Lake trail. It also was very well maintained.

Such a gorgeous spot off the river. Has multiple site with picnic table and fire rings. A vault toilet available. Also possibly water, but it wasn’t working when we went.

Small campground with sites right on the lake. Gorgeous lake. Stunning views.
Swung by here yesterday (late Dec) after calling to confirm hookups were still functional. There was only one hookup spot plowed, and it’s connectivity was not stable. We decided not to stay as our Tesla kept reporting electrical risk every 10 minutes. Not worth the risk to car camp when it’s 18…
Gilmore Campground Farragut State Park, Idaho Lake Pend Oreille
I crossed the Montana / Idaho state line this morning and was pleasantly surprised at the AMAZING scenery . I’m from way over in Kentucky so maybe this is a best kept secret or it’s just not well advertised but NORTHERN…

At first we were a little taken aback by all the train noises (the puppy wasn’t too excited about it) but they didn’t run too late into the night. Close to town and when we stayed (early October) there were plenty of open RV sites. It almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. The facilities…
This was my first ever backpacking experience and was a great introduction for me. We did the 3.5-mile trail. It was challenging and encouraging. My dog loved it too, and she's a larger breed! I would recommend this trek for anyone who is wanting to learn and practice backpacking skills. There are…
We were there mid-week in the off-season and pretty much had the place to ourselves. The sites are close together, but that obviously didn't affect us.
Pretty lake. Good cell service even though its tucked away from the main road. The owner was very nice and helpful.
I wish we were…

Stayed here for a few days back in June. Since I've been lucky enough to be able to work remotely, I just needed to find a campsite that had cell reception so I could tether my laptop, and this one does (at least on Verizon).
It has a lot more to offer too though, as the lakeside location is…
A small spit of land with 3 fire pits. Beautiful views.
Nice area for RV and camper trailers! Not as many spots for tents but I’ve seen a few on the lower level. Nice long, hot shower’s and nice shower room’s. Two showers per male and female though, which isn’t enough in my opinion. Nice, fancy-ish restaurant at the bottom of the camping grounds…
This is a nice place to go with the whole fam! It is known for it’s huge friendly deer population!! You will see them everywhere!! Which is fun for out-of-towners! People from the city who don’t get much wildlife action. Also, very amazing views of Lake pend Oreille and the mountains, which…
